10 has a few decent weeks but god it's such a struggle to get to them. The first month or so is a non-BB12 low and it really does have the worst male cast ever. I'm just surprised, maybe it was just Patrick being the vocal minority but I was under the impression that 9 was cherished in these parts.

Also, am I right in assuming the people minusing BB1 haven't seen it?

Yeah they were great housemates, but how many forgettable housemates were there that season. 4 or so housemates were good, out of a huge cast of like 25?

True, but you could make the same argument for 7 and 13 sucking because the casts were largely deplorable as well (which I don't even think is the case with BB8 tbh).

I'd say over half were good HMs and it's rare that I never dislike a single female HM in a series which alone made the first week the best in BB history for me.

I liked the 3000 other housemates although I have to admit I forgot one existed completely (the guy who was evicted straightaway from the halfway house I think)

I mean Nikki's good and all but transphobia isn't a good look for anyone. The lows for Nikki were real lows. But my point I was getting to was obviously 7 and 13 have largely deplorable casts, but they're great series because you have an epic protagonist (Aisleyne, Deana) to throw your full-fledged support behind all the way until the end. Charley filled the same space for 8 and coincidentally enough when she was in the house BB8 wasn't bad at all? It truly didn't get horrid until the last month.

7 didn't have a particularly deplorable cast though? I thought they were all pretty likeable or at least entertaining except Glyn, Richard, Dawn, George and all the HND housemates bar Jayne. Ash, Nikki, Lea, Grace > all other female housemates (except Makosi obviously).

Your right about BB13 though, full of dicks.

Meh, George and Dawn were gone in the first week or so and Michael & Spiral only lasted like three weeks and were pretty background. Personally I really disliked Glyn & Richard but I dislike people who last long in every series so I get used to it/

Overall, the BB7 cast is up there with the best.

The casting has gone so downhill. I mean even Susie was a better bore than the bores we get now if that even makes sense

EVERYONE in BB6 was entertaining, I was expecting Vanessa to be this Susie type bore from what I'd heard, but shes bitching in practically every episode & worshiping Makosi & was actually not at all a bore, had she not been in BB6 she would have been seen as an entertaining housemate imo

BB6 is my favourite and I genuinly liked people like Kemal, Makosi and Derek even though they were all massive stirrers as they were hilarious but I agree most of them were awful people, but in a fascinating and entertaining way.

I like 13 but to me that has the nastiest cast, the likes of Becky and Conor were truly horrible and awful as they had no redeeming features and weren't entertaining whatsoever.

They're largely deplorable for uninspiring for the most part. Like, Shahbaz, Sezer, Grace, Lisa, Lea, Nikki, Jayne, Spiral, Richard, and Pete all have huge flaws and Bonnie, George, Sam, Michael, Mikey, and Jennie are all more or less wallpaper tbqh. Which for me leaves Dawn (who lasted a week), Susie, Imogen, Aisleyne, and Glyn. Fascinating series, don't get me wrong, but you're really grasping at straws to find people to throw your support behind.

And I am not going to accept any slander of Susie or Vanetha because they are definitely among the most underrated HMs ever. Also in that category: Jem, Charlie Travers.

BB13 was like BB6 2.0 casting wise and division wise I suppose, I did really enjoy it it's just tainted for me because it had one of the worst eviction orders of any series
