The right person definatly won. I'm still annoyed though, i didn't want to know but it was on the MSN homepage and it's my homepage so i saw it, that's the 3rd show in 1 month i've ruined for myself or another website has.

But still, i'll be able to watch it tomorrow and enjoy it more knowing the result.

The best person won IMO. I lvoe Jordin and hope she is successful and doesn't disappear so quickly like some people who win these kind of shows do. Well done Jordin.

More seem to stick around from American Idol, even the one's who don't win like Chris from last year who's sold over 2.5 million albums this year.They get better songs and producers.

in fact Clay Aitken has been the most successful. Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar. I think AI is generally considered to a good breeding ground for talent. Having said that, I'm still not happy that she won. But I think that is down to what I believe to be a poor top 12. Not so much her but her lack of competition.

I think even this year's top 12 wipes the floor with most of the people we got on X-Factor.From last year's top 12 about seven of them have had albums that got to the top 10.

I can see quite a few of the 12 getting album deals and having fairly good career's, several of them are also meant to be good songwrites.Stuff that I've heard from Blake,Chris R and Chris S is of a pretty good standard.

Another American phenomenon that has passed on overseas.

I watched AI 1-3, but lost interest after that. I don't see the appeal anymore, seeing as we all know that only two haven't fallen completely into obscurity.

i started watching from season 4 and carrie underwood is my favorite american idol as you can tell from my banner even though she hasent been herd of over here i have followed how sucessful she has been over the two years since she has won.

Nah Kelly has tryed to hard to get away from american idol she went to the final this year since she won 5 years ago but she only really did that to boot her album up the charts as supposdly its not that great ever since carrie has won even though it was 2 years ago she keeps coming back to american idol twice this year and twice last year and her album is still in the charts after 2 years in america which is great and has sold over 6million and thats just her first album imagine her next one she will beat kelly for the most sucessful idol i think
