BBC commentary is great but my god do they spout a load of **** sometimes. I remember at the Beijing World Champs last year they spent 55 minutes after Mo Farah had won Gold discussing if he was the greatest athlete of all time, watching replays etc meanwhile there were plenty of field finals still going on.

We'll be lucky if we see any field action at all tbh Just Gabby Logan having a little catch up with Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson

Did they not provide a red button stadium feed so you could watch the events unfold live if you didn't want the studio discussion? I know they did for the London Olympics and I expect and hope they'll be doing the same here. If they didn't you can blame the government and its forced budget cuts on the BBC for that

Personally I like the punditry and stuff but I understand why some people don't and think there should be the alternative option. The BBC is unrivalled when it comes to sports coverage as far as I'm concerned though and London proves why
