Channel 5 has not yet responded to our request for comment, promising further information ‘ASAP’. What is, unfortunately, telling is that they have not moved to immediately dismiss the request – whether we are reading too much into that, remains to be seen.

...It would be sad for BB to end completely, I think for me what this series has shown more is that the social experiment aspect is still there and that it creates some great talking points and helps to highlight things in a raising awareness, type way...I do think though that only one celebrity series a year would be better and like this time, trying to keep the focus on a more varied blend of housemates..rather than, oh they’re mostly all reality tv celebrities, rather than from such a variety of celebrity backgrounds as we have now...anyway that’s just a personal taste, even choosing housemates who would provide. More confrontational and argumentative house etc can also work I guess...but I don’t feel sort of endless conflict can sustain through the length of time the series both are atm...it’s the exact same as having a ‘boring’ house with very little to discuss, just the other end of the extreme...so maybe if that’s the type of house and housemate provided, make the series much shorter...
