Actually they weren't, that's straight up misinformation you are spreading there.

Child separation only occurred in cases of suspected smuggling or abuse. Only a handful of kids were seperated from their accompanying adults on a yearly basis. Not thousands in a matter of months.

I'm quite tired of people relying on falsities to defend this situation.

Yes Trump has increased the numbers becasue the numbers coming are unacceptable

Once again he is doing something that Obama did not have the balls or stomach for

this will play well in the USA for voters

I don't think many people would 'have the balls' to enforce state sanctioned child abuse tbh.

Obama's approach had issues, it wasn't perfect but it didn't infringe on human rights or traumatise children. Trump wanted to 'get one over' on Obama by trying to scrap his policies and in turn created a barbaric new system that, judging by the hollow executive order, he isn't too fussed about fixing.

Tough ****, being the creator of a thread with dozens of participants and hundreds of replies doesn't mean that you "own the thread" and can have it deleted at will. The forum would be an absolute mess if we were to start that nonsense.

It's different if someone makes a thread in one of the Chat forums on a personal topic and wants it deleted... but other than that... just no.

A mod should change the thread title back. TS is right. Parminion isn't the moderator of how this thread went. If a mod wants to close it for being off topic... then fine... but the OP shouldn't get to make that call

I actually thought the vBulletin software had safeguards against title changes... Like a certain time frame (a few hours) where the thread poster could change the thread title / a max number of posts in the thread when it could still be changed... And after that time it had to be a moderator on request

. Apparently not though as this thread has been going since yesterday and has 200+ replies. Maybe it's an optional feature.

i can change the title to my own thread surely....seeing as the option to do it is there for all to use.

I'm not sure if Trump is a fool or a genious,,...but when I heardy him the other day say seperate but equall.....I think he was well aware of what he was saying....very worring times ahead
