Shouldn't alter the content and detail of policy though.

Yes the Covid crisis warranted an additional crisis management input to policy.

Ukraine likewise.

However the detail of policy elected on should remain.

If the policies from a general election are not being done or are being changed then the mandate is gone.
Until a new election is held and won.
Otherwise what's the point of election manifestos.

The Truss government wont last. They are a couple of weeks in and the majority of tory mp's are already drawing battle lines. Truss seems to think she is all powerful, she is in for a rude awakening
