Yes but I think them loudly proclaiming that is because they've been given a lot of leeway. The way Farida seems to have gotten around it is by not directly saying what was said, but rather framing it out as her "impression"... could be something they saw or saw on Reddit. There's no way to know what their impressions are based on...
