Oh yeah, and Eric. It'll probably get really low ratings if they did that though. In America the actors become huge breakout stars, where as in the UK with Skins, the actors stay relatively low profile. All the tweens would move on or switch off lol.

I'm scared for GG though because with Josh (creator) he tends to get really repetitive with his writing, especially with his teen dramas. With The OC, it got pretty bad in its third season and it was the same plots over and over. Luckily all the actors are confident it'll go on for four seasons, so if it does get boring with the cast it'll probably won't affect the show that much.

Break out those leg warmers, Gossip Girl fans! The CW has announced that a pilot for a potential spin-off series, created by GG executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, is on the way. The show will actually be a prequel, focusing on Serena’s momma, Lily Van Der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford, pictured), as a troubled teenager in 1980s Los Angeles. According to an early plot description, we’ll see young Lily move out of her wealthy parents’ home in Montecito to live with her outcast sister in the Valley, where she’ll attend public school and experience the glitz of Hollywood and the excess of the Sunset Strip. No word on if a young Rufus (Matthew Settle) shows up, but I could totally see Lily running into Lincoln Hawk on Sunset Boulevard.

The pilot, which is still untitled and hasn’t been cast, will air on May 11 in place of a Gossip Girl episode; the spin-off has not yet been greenlit as a full series. Originally, there had been rumors that producers would center a spin-off on Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), but those rumblings were quickly shot down. By choosing to do a prequel, Gossip Girl doesn’t have to deal with the loss of any of its talented ensemble.

Yeah and it's a smart move as well putting it in the place of one GG episode. That way, as Dezzy said, they can test it with the core audience and see if its given a chance.

Yeah Eric hardly ever is! And when he is, its for like 1 scene. That's spot on, lol! Vanessa is the best! She's one of my favourites. I like it better when she's actually in the episode! Who are you favourites?

Ooh i hope i dont get bored of C&B there my faves lol. But yeah same here i prefer the episode when Vanessa is in it lol. My faves are those 3 though. Ive never been keen on Serena for some reason and Dan bores me.. Jenny isnt too bad but i really wanted her and Nate together [spoil]loved the episode where they kissed lol..[/spoil]

And Eric is just.. there. Havent got an opinion of him lol.
