I hate when rappers start focusing more on other people, it affects them too muhc, Dre did it with Eminem = No detox. Eminem did it with Obie and 50 = Encore. He's doing it now with Yela and SH = future **** album. Kanye needs to come back with a great album.

tbf MBDTF wasn't even 2 years ago yet and Watch the Throne had some excellent songs (just a quite boring middle section), so I'm not too impatient

Kanye fell off years ago though. I Don't Like was an absolute banger, but that was a banger before he remixed it so I don't really count it. The best thing he can do is bring out a G.O.O.D Music album. Pusha & Big Sean are both spitting alot better than him at the moment in my opinion.

Saying that. He is beyond epic Live along with Jay and *****s In Paris will always be a modern hit for him(or be it for Jay'z verse and the beat mostly)

Kanye West nominated for 17 BET Hip Hop Awards

ATLANTA — Kanye West hasn't released a solo album since 2010, but the rapper has kept relevant with another strong year.

Now, BET is taking notice.

West received the most nominations with 17 for the seventh annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will air Oct. 9. The rapper has had a big year as a producer, performer and director. He also collaborated with Jay-Z on the album, "Watch the Throne."

The nominations were announced Wednesday.

The ceremony will be taped Sept. 29 at Atlanta's Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. Actor and comedian Mike Epps will return as host for the fourth straight year.

Hip-hop mogul Chris Lighty, who committed suicide earlier this month, will be honored during the show. Lighty was the manager for Mariah Carey, Sean "Diddy" Combs and 50 Cent.
