Watching Arsenal now .. Saka continued to get hacked down match after match and the defenders rarely get booked
I just don’t understand why the officials have gone from being too picky in recent seasons to being far , far too lenient this season. You can literally kick someone up in the air from behind and nothing happens but a little tug on a shirt and they get booked To make matters worse the refs seem more likely to penalise a tackle from a striker like Trossard who rarely fouls anyone than someone like Koulabaly who routinely punts strikers up in the air without a second thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Zizu; 12-03-2023 at 02:15 PM. |

Final rant .. for now ..
I don’t dare celebrate a goal nowadays as it seems like VAR are intent on disallowing as many goals as possible It’s not long ago they said that offside decisions would go in favour off the attacking team … Edit .. there you go …. My gawd Arsenal are gonna get roasted at half time !!
The team has got so complacent and careless in equal measures Suddenly after 30 minutes giving the ball away carelessly, Ramsdale making two howlers with his passing out .. then all those bad misses . Edit - just scored the vital third goal so it’s 3:0 at halftime !! I wonder if Arteta will make two or three subs now - just to shake a few out if their complacency ? Throw a feather at Grealish/Zaha and they go down like they've been shot. Saka has the football brain of a 30-year old. 150 Million minimum if anyone wants him. After Bellingham, he's probably the best player under 21 in Europe.
