As for alcohol not tasting nice ... balls to that. Few things are nicer than a good Guiness.
I do a weird thing where I get to a point.... enjoy it..... top it up.... enjoy it

I just wish Guinness wasn't so bloody expensive or I'd drink it all the time

I think they used to actually encourage pregnant women to have a pint of stout/Guinness a day as it was so enriched in iron

Random useless fact of the day....

Putting stuff in lager/stout/cider just makes it taste worse.

I don't like cider anyway but it's worse with stuff in it.

I think that was a myth the English propogated on us to keep us subdued and spawn a race of alcho children.

Also ... diluting Guinness with coke? I call B.S. Why would anyone do that? Guinness doesn't taste strong enough to be diluted and mixing it with Coke would just be a horrible clash and not make the taste work. Complete ballcrap.

And how would you do it? Do you ask for an extra pint glass and a bottle of coke so you can slowly mix them together in the pub?

I'm not buying it.

This kid I go to the pub with before Albion matches only drinks lager with a shot of Jack Daniels in it.

Spends about £6 on a pint and it tastes disgusting. I can't see how it would get you drunk much quicker, really because the beer would just dilute the JD

Lol. That's how bad Guiness tastes, IMO. So bad that I have to dilute it with coke!

Oh, and, I usually drink Guiness/Coke at home, haha. Only go out if I'm actually gonna get wasted.

Yeah and Guinness isn't fizzy or anything. Would taste revolting.

I don't buy the Guinness and Coke think either.

Actually, why even buy it if you don't like it?
