Trump's own fault this, he told his people to vote in person, and those votes are among first to be counted since that goes quicker

the postal votes sit in boxes, and must be counted by hand, that takes up a long time, so yeah easy to explain why Trump first had solid leads, and then Biden gaining more and more ground

the only Biden voters who probably voted in person were youngsters who not among risk groups for covid-19, every other voter of Biden probably too scared to vote in person (and it is a valid reason given we're in a pandemic) voted by mail

so yeah Trump has nothing concrete to stand on, to make those accusations of fraud

Exactly due to Covid ,it made more sense to vote by mail.

The main reason Biden has won is because it’s enabled the lazy to vote by this Mail voteing (and having a month to vote), this has allowed lazy people who otherwise probably wouldn’t have voted have voted in demand for Biden because social media has told them to and because they have nothing else to do.

We're in the middle of a Pandemic, the USA in particular has been hit very badly, mail in voting is the most sensible option and like Oliver said every citizen is entitled to vote, what you're saying is basically "If less people voted Trump would have won"

Perhaps I should have worded it differently, but this vote has had the largest voting turnout by a significant amount.

Both Biden and trump have the highest votes in presidency history by a large margin.

I don’t think it is beyond the realms to believe the reason for this is because there has been a 1 month voting window for ballot voting. The ballot votes have been reported to be roughly 70% in Bidens favour and so significantly Democratic Party (which has sealed this election due to how close it has been)

It is not ludicrous to beleive that mail voting being open for 1 month (which allows people who would put it off/not typically bother voting) to vote, it is reasonable to believe 70% of these extra people will therefore be democratic. These votes have been the sway votes, and so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think this 1 month voting period is solely what has swayed the final decision with it being as close as it has been. It’s come down to the wire and the extra votes from people who may not have voted has probably sealed it

Why is that a bad thing? the best thing for a democracy is to have as many citizens as possible voting, surely? Then that is absolutely the will of the people being done

That doesn't mean much, with a growing population virtually every new election will have "the most votes ever." It's kinda like how movies reaching a billion dollars doesn't mean much now with the rising costs of tickets etc.
