It's alleged Enrique is going to Liverpool and it would be a blow to lose Barton, but if the club act quick and use the cash from their sales if they go to get two decent replacements in with time to spare unlike the Carroll deal then it could work.. Of course the club would want to hang onto them though!

What I don't understand is that apparently Liverpool are aiming to play Henderson on the wing if he signs, what is the point because it wouldn't work with him being a natural Centre Midfielder.

Wilson will sign for Rangers permanently again. Liverpool are rightly aiming to use younger talent but atm surely finding more experienced players to compete for that 4th place is important?

Henderson has played on the right a lot for Sunderland this year. I'm hoping this deal falls through though, I think he's a good player but we're being ripped off.

I think at the minute the main plan is to have a mix of experience and youth, with the youth mainly being the back up players getting game time every now and then.

Surely Liverpool know better and actually retreat if they think it's not worth it. Obviously some transfer prices are way too high and some players don't end up justifying their tags.. a joke in some cases really!

Trust me even United fans didn't know Hernandez would turn out to be a bargain at the start. He seems happy and grateful despite Madrid sniffing around.

A mate told me that Nolan has rejected a new contract at St.James Park, I did read about a week ago that he was interested in re-joining Bolton.

Nolan, Barton and Enrique all leaving though would be a massive blow IMO.

Liverpool Pursuing Chelsea Winger Florent Malouda, Preparing Ł8 Million Bid

Liverpool needs wingers. Chelsea is planning a major personnel overhaul.

If you put two and two together, a Florent Malouda to Anfield transfer makes some sense.

According to Setanta Sports, Kenny Dalglish is keen on bringing in the 30-year-old French international.

While Liverpool is expected to pursue mainly young players, Malouda, who has just one year left on his contract, could potentially be plucked at value, and a bid of Ł8 million is being prepared. Malouda, though, is valued at upwards of Ł17 million, according to TransferMarkt.

The Frenchman scored 15 goals for Chelsea last season, though his assist total dropped from nine in 2009-10 to two in 2010-11.
