You need to read the later books

As a Potter fan I have to agree with you. The first book is pretty dire compared to the later books.

Give the others a go. You never know, you might like them.

I'll admit, I have read the Twilight books and seen the films. But they are SO boring. I read them all because I wanted to finish the series.

niall **** about shitelight

and Glenn is right, she definately improved as a writer, I was rereading the first book about a week ago, and i couldn't get over how much it read as if it was directed towards 8 year olds
