That annoys me,I dislike double standards.

I've spent most of the series defending Helen and people throwing around sexist terminology like '*****' and 'slut and to stop questioning her parenting skills

It's not a one or the other issue and going 'well no one defends this housemate so we can insult another!!!!!!' isn't helping. Nobody should be insulting housemates appearances and that's the bottom line of it. Big Brother is a show about personalities, not the way people look so there shouldn't be any reason why people are talking about that.

This isn't a new thing, this isn't just because it's Ashleigh. I defended Becky a few years ago when she was constantly insulted about her weight, same with Jack and Joe last year. I defended Sam when his disability was mocked (and I couldn't stand him), I defended Gina for the same insults Ashleigh receives. This list goes on. There's just no need for it no matter who it is

Yes it is and I criticised that too, that doesn't justify a whole load of other personal insults against other housemates though does it?

People calling housemates '*****s' and 'sluts' and laughing at them being beaten up or hoping they will be shouldn't be happening and people insulting the way housemates look shouldn't be happening either. There isn't any justification for it whatsoever

Even though i strongly dislike Ashleigh, i don't agree that there should be any sort of insult about the way she looks at her or anyone in the house for that matter, its just ridiculous and petty.

Hated? Ashleigh is probably the most popular housemate, and I say this as someone who (though I like her) has grown irritated by her recently.

There's always tons of support for her, on here and other places, so I don't see why people have to make a big thing out of any criticism she receives.

Sorry, I'm not trying to have a go at anyone, but I do sometimes feel that some of her fans act like she's receiving tons of hostility and she's some kind of underdog with the public, but that's not true. Ash, Helen, Pav and Chris all get more negativity than she does out here at the moment, and the positivity towards her far outweigh what she does get. I mean, it's the same with the reaction to Pav not having positive words for her, people ignored the fact that she never had time for him either and concentrated on the fact that she was receiving criticism, even from someone she'd had plenty to say about herself.

So, yeah, I don't see how she's "hated" if we're using the term to describe someone who gets mainly bad feedback from the viewers.

I'd take Ashleigh's behaviour over Helen's anyday!

Ashleigh's got her whole life in front of her to look forward to and she's got no skeletons in her closet to hold her back, nothing to be ashamed of.
She's also in a solid relationship and has her whole family's love and support behind her.

In 10 year's time, when she's Helen's age, i can guarantee she'll be in a much better situation than Helen is in her life and will have made much better decisions and have a bright future ahead of her!

She doesn't exist to entertain people! She's on Big Brother to try and win and she's done a very good job of it so far!
