The points which I and certain others were raising was; that the hysterical clamour for Trump's head by certain 'factions', is far in excess of any reaction to these Islamic Hate Preachers racist, xenophobic, callous and murderous rantings, and there was NO petition of any kind to ban these bastards from our shores.

To be fair, that's a statement dodging the question a bit. The claim is that more JOINED in a year - not that the total serving was more... so the number serving is irrelevant (to the claim).

However, even if it is true, we're still talking about tiny numbers. A few hundred out of 4 million Muslims in the country. That puts it into a little more perspective.

Also, hypothetically, I would imagine there are some serious challenges faced by Muslim men who want to sign up to the British army. Prejudice, suspicion, etc... I can't imagine it's an attractive choice for them in that sense.

I think its more to do with every conflict we get involved in is in Muslim countries.

I feel that Trump should be allowed to say what he wants as long as it's not insighting violence on another Politician (Sarah Palin I'm thinking of you) and anything else equally as ridiculous.

Initially Donalds remarks were met with scorn. Days later what he said is sinking in and people are now rightly agreeing with him. He's not suggesting blowing anyone up, he is simply trying too protect American citizens. America has responded to his words which is why his ratings have gone up. Good on him i say for being honest and speaking out.
