Rylan probably didn't even know who she was before she went in.

I don’t think Ann has showed any hate or predjudice towards anyone because of their sexual preferences in the house.
She’s equally prudish with language, different topics of conversation, partying, staying up late etc.

Yeah if your only argument to say Shilpa was not racially bullied is "Poppadom is not racist" then you clearly didn't watch much of CBB5. Thee racism in that series was abhorrent. Especially from, as Vicky said, Danielle and Jack.

To deny that you have got to be wilfully ignorant.

Most Ann fans clearly agree with her views but hide behind the usual "she tells it like it is, she's so honest!!!" excuse. No, just be honest and admit you agree with her views on things like gay marriage.

I am surprised this forum has so many homophobes. I would have thought a show like this would have a more liberal audience but I guess I was wrong.

Maybe some people just respect other people have the right to THEIR opinion. It doesn't mean we agree with it necessarily.
This is a democratic country...we are all entitled to a ****ing opinion...Ann has said nothing wrong but she clearly feels uncomfortable around certain behaviour between 2 men. She doesn't care what people do in private but personally finds it hard to watch in public. She has every right to feel that way...

I am not telling her not to have an opinion. You should respect my right to criticize her then since that is my opinion

Seems like a lot of the people that pull the "it's just her opinion!!!" card don't realize that I can also have an opinion about her opinion. Right to an opinion doesn't mean right to say what you want without being criticized.

You are not just critising her though you are critising fans that are agreeing with her right to have an opinion...which you agree she should have??

No I just think most of her fans are being disingenuous. I am criticizing them for being cowardly. It's clear many agree with her views but they are not brave enough to say that, so they hide behind the usual facade of liking her because "she tells it like it is."

Here, here totally agree. Amazing in the 21st century we have so many ignorant bigoted homophobes.

http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/big-bro...n-bb-race-row/

This also.

The poppadom thing was dodgy. But this is undeniable really.

The limericks..though not explicitly saying the word P***...thats very obviously what was meant.

I'd never read that before, thanks. I'm confused as to why they were telling them to switch off their microphones though?

Yes but its the context. And when added to that ridiculous limerick game..it looks seriously bad.

Like a curry is a food, but if I called an Indian person a curry, especially if I had been (basically) making jokes of racism terms around the same time, and my mates had been telling the person to 'go home' and such surely you can see why a lot of people would view curry as not just a food, but an offensive term?

Now just imagine they called him ‘black trash’.

And yes i know ‘white trash’ is basically the US term for ‘chav’ but inserting the persons skin colour is either right for everyone or wrong for everyone.Anything else is racism.

Really you couldn't see racism anywhere else? Me thinks you purposely overlooked it all.

What stood out to me was how Shilpa dealt with these racist comments by being so dignified and composed, also showing forgiveness.

I will never forget her, she was amazing.

It made those awful women look worse by being compared with her, her ability to deal with them in such a classy way, wiped the floor with their abhorrent abuse.

People are debating whether or not they believe Ann is homophobic or holds homophobic views.

Stop pretending anyone is trying to change her mind or stifle her right to an opinion. Not one single person had done that.
