It was for me still a tense one until the 2nd goal went in then for the first time I felt this day was going to be a good one for Birmingham.

Great result absolutely Mock.
I 100% agree with this post.

I honestly believe that if we draw with Rotherham in the next game that we stay up.

Btw it's been good to speak with you and the rest of TIBB again today.

I've been far to busy watching Jujutsu Kaisen and playing Assault Gunners for anyone that cares.

The Blues are gonna be kicking off soon. I wish them the best of luck , if they manage to get a win today I defo think they will be staying up this season. Looking at Rotherham’s fixtures they’ve got some tough games to play still, so today’s game will be interesting for sure.

Charlton drew 0-0 with Ipswich yesterday. We extend our unbeaten run which is good but we really needed those 3 points especially as Portsmouth lost there game, a missed opportunity to take advantage there and put on some more pressure.

You got a cracking good result tonight Dogeatdog.
A 6-0 away win for Charlton.

Thanks Joey I was absolutely thrilled about that result!! For us now to go into these last 5 games being unbeaten in 10 is a huge boost for the whole squad and the fans.

Our away form has been amazing but what needs to happen which is crucial now is for our home form to improve because it’s been poor this season and we need to win as many games as we can to be in the playoffs. Peterborough at home on Saturday, I really hope we can keep this good momentum going.

I'm going to be a near nervous wreck from noon.
This is a big match Rotherham v Birmingham.
It's massive for both.

Obviously my hopes are for a positive result for Birmingham, please.

What a great win for Birmingham congratulations. Bowyer has defo worked some magic since he’s joined and I think the Blues are defo going to be in the Championship next season now after that result.

I just hope Bowyer can keep it up, like when Redknapp took charge they were unbeaten then the next season started anf they just couldn't win a game and that's not been the first time either, the players always have an instant reaction to a new manager but they need to keep the enthusiasm all season long and not a few games

Thanks guys for the support.

Like Denver's said hopefully we'll actually keep this up rather than falling apart, or worse sack Bowyer for winning games like what happened to Rowett & Monk.

And hopefully Charlton will get promoted Dogeatdog.

I hope so too Mock. From this point onwards it’s going to be very tense for the teams in League 1 that are aiming for the playoffs with the season ending soon.

On a side note I saw a really odd stat yesterday. So Coventry who are ground sharing with Birmingham this season are on the exact same points, with the exact same amount of games won, drawn and lost, and nearly the exact same goal difference . Just thought it was a bit unusual lol

Well spotted that Dogeatdog.

Indeed but for one goal as to goal difference the stats are the same.

Hello Dogeatdog.

I've got to say I didn't know that statistic at all. It's very funny though.

The League One playoff positions are incredibly tight at the moment, maybe one win and a draw will be enough for Charlton to make it into the playoffs.

Yo Mock. :)

Yh man I’m feeling that anxiety poor Joey’s been feeling all season for the blues. The playoffs in L1 this season are soo close at the moment. We’ve got Crewe tonight at home which I’m nervous about because we’re just so $hit at home this season.

Congrats to you guys again tho. Another season in the Championship, I really hope that we can join you.

are Sheffield Wednesday still in this league?

just wondering

i kinda liked them back in my childhood, i also remember them when they had our Wim Jonk playing there in his last playing career days (he is now manager of FC Volendam in our first division KKD (keukenkampioendivisie), the team of his birthplace/hometown)

They are at the moment but it looks like they’re being relegated down to League 1 this season it just isn’t confirmed yet. They’ve won 2 of their last 14 games, at this stage in the season without their points deduction they still would have been in the relegation zone.

Hello Joey.

Thankfully that absurd penalty didn't make a difference between us staying up or going down.

Hopefully we keep this untouchable form through to next season.

Neil Harris gave me a good laugh on Sky Sports today.

Stats for the Sheffield Utd vs Birmingham match.

Possession:
Sheffield Utd 76% Birmingham 24%

Shots:
Sheffield Utd 16 Birmingham 9

Shots On Target:
Sheffield Utd 2 Birmingham 2

Corners:
Sheffield Utd 8 Birmingham 2

Fouls:
Sheffield Utd 3 Birmingham 12 (I swear every single one of those 15 fouls ended up with the players receiving a yellow card, such a poor Referee)

Final Score:
Sheffield Utd 0 Birmingham 1

Neil Harris said that "Sheffield Utd dominated the game and that they only conceded off poor defending" which makes it sound like we only had 1 or 2 shots on goal and didn't have a goal disallowed or Hogan miss an open goal.

If anything Sheffield Utd were lucky that they didn't lose by more, yes they may have had more chances than us, but only one of their chances was truly threatening, and I certainly wouldn't call it "dominating."

I can definitely see why he has been sacked twice as Manager if that's his analysis of last night's match, instead of just admitting that the flavour of the month weren't good enough, the pundits try to excuse and dismiss " the underdog" which I'm sure Villa, Leicester, and Tottenham fans can all testify to after what the Media said about their big victories last season against Liverpool & the two Manchester clubs respectively.
