Leyla is his birth mum but Alicia is his adopted mother Jacob calls Alicia mum and Leyla aunty and David dad because he is his adoptive Dad. All 3 are responsible for Jacob. It's silly just to blame Leyla all because you don't like her.

When a child is given away biology doesn't come into it. Alicia is his mum.

Leyla is not his mum. He lives and was partly raised by David, the man who brought Maya into their lives. The woman he was in a relationship with. If anyone should've seen/prevented this, it's David.
