And for someone who liked Nicole on BB, I have to say that she became really annoying

Is the boot order even that bad? Like other than Rachel/Elissa leaving early, which even so we still got 8 legs out of them thanks to frontloading all of the NELs, what's been bad about this? Getting a full season of Colin/Christie is still surreal to me, Leo/Jamal have been a fun trainwreck team who starts off so strong every episode and then does something stupid to put them next to last, and Tyler/Korey have been... not good but not not good? Probably about as enjoyable as they possibly could be.

And I know this is going to be #controverchele but I kinda dig what Nicole/Victor have brought to the table? He's totally fine and she's trying to bring her trademark whiny self-victimization to another show and it's soooooo transparent that it almost wraps around to being funny for me mainly because no one takes her seriously? Rachel read her for filth in the read of the century, she undermines Victor to the point where he even gets frustrated with her, and she's SO USELESS that I love watching Victor having to run the race with a dead weight partner. Say what you want about Jessica Graf last season but she was Cody's emotional backbone and she actually did tasks and pulled out the final Roadblock. Nicole couldn't even pedal the bike this episode

I'm glad Becca and Floyd are finally gone because Becca Buckwild is just Not It. They're boring racebots who are way too consciously aware of the cameras and try to make moments happen and it's NOT fun. It *sometimes* wraps back around ironically like when she's singing "Old McBecca had a farm" and saying **** like Hakuna Matata and referencing Pokemon somewhat seriously, but it's just way too much about the Team Fun brand that even when Becca's mask *does* slip like it did in TAR29 when Floyd lost the passports, she brings it back together after 30 seconds and goes back to mugging for the cameras :\ Randomly unrelated but I could NOT deal with how every episode needed one of them to talk about how being a drum major/whatever else they do in real life is secretly helpful to running the race.

Let's end this post on a positive note with this interview, where Colin and Christie pretty much admit that they texted a casting director and forced themselves onto this season
