You have no idea about Iran at all, they have the 2nd largest Jewish population in the mid east (behind Israel), and the Jews there aren't threatened or living under tyrannical rule.

Tyrannical is a big word, but no Non-muslims have it easy in Iran, and even the "wrong kind" of muslim (Sunni) gets the short end of the stick.

In terms of political representation, employment rights, and even practicing their faith, Jews (along with everyone else) don't live in what we'd call freedom.
