it showed up too much when Sunny Malta was on, then the next view went to the Rovers which looked drab, I bet thats when Corrie thought "lets do the place up" |

Aye probably. I enjoyed that Malta week, but I do think they could have done more with it though.

CORRIE favourite Bradley Walsh has been axed from the soap after a bitter bustup with show bosses.
The popular actor was set for an explosive return this autumn as bedhopper Danny Baldwin. But in a shock turn of events bosses blocked his comeback because Bradley said he could only spare six weeks due to panto work. Corrie execs were said to be furious that Bradley, 47, snubbed the mega-bucks return to star in Aladdin in Milton Keynes, Bucks. And a show insider suggested the real reason Bradley refused the offer was to get back at ITV bosses over his scrapped chat show and delayed dramas. Speaking from the Edinburgh festival, our source said: “Bradley originally took a year off from Coronation Street to concentrate on a chat show and star in two dramas. “He had proved a massive success on the show and wanted to capitalise on it. “But he was left fuming when his pilot show was canned in favour of fellow Corrie star Antony Cotton.” Antony, who plays Sean Tully, now has a daily talk programme. The source added: “Bradley had also been promised two big drama leads but so far both of them have failed to start production and he feels totally let down by ITV bosses.” Stand-up comedian Bradley left Corrie last year when his character Danny discovered his wife Frankie, played by Debra Stephenson, was in love with his son. But rumours at the time were rife that he was having an affair with Debra, 35. The couple later admitted to becoming “too close” and Bradley has since spent the entire summer in Portugal repairing the damage to his marriage. The source added: “Corrie boss Steve Frost thought it was the perfect time to bring Bradley back into the show. “But when Bradley said he could only spare six weeks they decided it just wasn’t long enough. Corrie bosses are furious over the way he has messed them around and will not commit for longer. “They are so irate that they have scrapped all plans to bring him back. No one actor is bigger than the show and it seems that Bradley’s character has reached the end of the road.” Bradley has got over his alleged marriage problems by spending summer with choreographer wife Donna, 38, and son Barney, eight. A pal said: “They are stronger than ever but the family don’t need Coronation Street." Although, someone told me Steve Frost said on 'This Morning' that there were no current plans to bring Danny back, so the fall out may be a lie |

^ So with Danny not coming back, and Jamie leaving soon, that'll be the end for the Baldwins forever.

Dany Baldwin was good but I think it's better withot him. That storyline dug itself into the ground.
