It is unfair to compare them, I just think that it'd have done better in the charts. Saying that, I kinda like that she doesn't do well in the charts. Separates her from the usual chart names.

I hear billionaire Sir Philip Green has been courting Brit’s old rival Christina Aguilera to design new ranges for his TopShop empire.

Aggy could expect to earn around Ł1million per range ...very nice work if you can get it.

However, there’s no whisper from my that Christina will replace Kate Moss – his most successful signing. Instead, Christina, 28, will be brought in to create her own additional lines to sell alongside Kate's.

The source told me: “Sir Philip has started talks with Christina and hopes to sign a deal soon. She has visited his offices in London and they are thrashing out the details.

“Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to TopShop. Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model.

Anyway looks like the TopShop range was just a rumor:

Christina Aguilera has not been approached to design a new clothes range for the High Street store Topshop, Gigwise can exclusively reveal.

Media reports today (December 28th) claimed the singer was on the verge of signing a multi-million pound deal with owner Sir Phillip Green.

However, a spokesman for Topshop exclusively told Gigwise that the reports were “complete speculation”.

He added: “Topshop are not in discussion with any celebrity or artist to create new ranges for us."

The report in the Daily Mirror newspaper claimed Aguilera was being lined up to design a series of ranges in addition to supermodel Kate Moss.

Moss has reinvigorated Topshop’s sales since she began working on fashion lines for the company in May last year.

But Topshop’s spokesman, Andrew Leahy, said the retailer intended to “focus on working with the best of Britain’s emerging fashion designers.”

Aguilera has already released three fragrances and earlier this year inspired a jewelry range by designer Stephen Webster.

Just to let all know, Falling In Love Agin won't be on the soundtrack. Sot eh only hope for a HQ version as of now is if it's released on iTunes which is extremly unlikely or that she's saving is for the new album which is almost certainly not going to happen as she tends to avoid covers for her album and doesn't features songs she does for movies.

So I guess we're going to have to wait for the DVD to come out then someone will rip it.

Apparently theres only two actual songs in the film, and the rest is just instrumentals so it looks like thats all they're releasing on the soundtrack.

I'm glad there's not a video or anything, it creates hyp for new album. I'm even a little pissed she's left releasing Dynamite so long. When the lead single for the new album instead of people saying "Ooh Christina's back", it's gonna be "Another single and video from Christina".

I think that Christina's control over her OWN career is always gonna hinder her success because she creates music she likes as opposed to what the public will like.
