it isn't intentional, and i just dont think its fair that we're being ripped for being friends. i personally have realised after posting threads that they were idiotic, hence why there haven't been any for a few days, and probably won't be. but with that i'm talking about the specific ones, not ones that one of us happens to post and the others are the only people who are interested, because we cant't help that, it happens to everyone where you realise that it's just been you and one or two more people talking in a thread, sometimes on topic, but it happens a lot off topic aswell, and it makes me personally feel like i'll look like a bit of an idiot if i post a reply to the op, because it feels as though i'm butting into a conversation.

I'm not really sure what to say atm... I don't think it's very fair that you're [you regarding people in this thread] picking on our "group". I would have thought you would have all known me better by now to know that I do not fit into the stereotypes you have been giving us. Fair enough I post some stupid things, but most of the time I try to keep the subject general to include everyone. It isn't my fault that I get posts written about me, and it feels like your attacking me.

As for Hannah, yes she's posted one or two "pointless" threads. But they were pointless to YOU [plural]. Sometimes I think these posts such as "what do you prefer: orange juice or apple juice" equally as pointless. I had a few people say to me that the threads are annoying if that means anything to you. And I don't think it matters where its said, if loads of people are unsure about something whether its on MSN or in past years, does it matter? I just think its funny how you're suddenly defending pointless threads for ones you were involved in.

Threads weren't made all the time but there were quite a few pointless posts with things like "I heard Amy21 thinks ..." which was completely unrelated. Thats no better IMO. Your name also doesn't suggest it was just a now and again thing.

I think the problem is we're on a forum where people are much closer friends than on any other forum.

It seems the so called "group's" friendship is being reflected in the way they post, and if loads of people are noticing this then it's obviously a problem for them.

I don't think anyone is against them being friends, it's just some people dislike the threads they post where people can't join in. Even though there's no actual comment saying "Only 'one of us can' write in this thread", I think a lot of people are feeling it. As much as I like these people, I wouldn't know how to reply in some of their threads, so I just close them and ignore them.

Even though I'm sure the people posting these threads have no intentions on isolating anyone from the forum, maybe it's having that effect.

I think the best thing is, if you've got a problem with these threads just ignore them, there's plenty of others to post in and there's plenty of other people on the forum to talk to.

Everyone is entitled to post what they want but maybe sometimes people should think about what they're posting before they do so.

At the end of the day, it's not your life, it's hardly school... it's just meant to be a fun forum.

Why is that any different to an exclusive thread?
