Why are people being so cynical...
Those threads do NOT hurt anyone... give it a rest.
Those threads make MANY people smile.. and if their friendship is something to Ridicule.... count me out of it.

the first one was basically the first time me and sia spoke and it was connected to the chatroom
the second one was a joke
and the argument one was because it was and still is incredibly ****ing boring on here that night.

just because we're friends it hardly means you can all isolate us because we're "the group", does it?

I remember when I first joined I didn't dare post in any threads that weren't in the BB9 section because I didn't know what was going on and how people would react to me.
So don't anyone say that it wasn't like this before our group, because it was.
It wasn't like that before your group though. THere was the odd funny random thread, but not six a day :|
six a day?
grow up.
Grow up? Says Hannah and her fake arguments 8-)
You're no stranger to posting pointless threads that only certain people will get though, Amy21 springs to mind and they always used to revolve around some kind of group. Its a bit hypocritical if you're slating someone for doing what you used to do.
Not really, considering everyone got the Amy21 thing? That all happened on the forum, not over Msn :S ?
Not everyone got it at all, and it was always the same people posting in the threads. All threads had some kind of pointless purpose, why is it any different? Doesn't matter if it was on MSN or not, its still a pointless thread that you seem to be condemning atm
Everyone at the time got those threads though? It does matter if it's on Msn, cos to me that's the massive problem :S If anyone could join into the random funny chit chat etc then it'd be fine but it's because it's excluded to certain members only that will understand the thing.
The whole Amy21 could be understood by most of the forum and had a laugh with, so no I'm not condemning pointless threads atall.
Yeah. I wasn't here with the whole Amy21 thing but because it was all talked about on the forum I got the jist of who she was pretty quickly and could understand the joke.
Plus there were no threads made about her. It was just talked and joked about if it came up at all.
Exactly.
what a surprise, you're backing that up because YOU were involved.
Most threads are "pointless" to some people, because not everything can involve everyone.
It's a forum, and just because sometimes things come up that have been talked about on msn, it doesn't mean that we don't want to speak to anyone else on here.
its not like we only ever speak to eachother and in threads that the others have made, is it?
Lmao no I'm not backing that up because I was involved. Tbf it's not about whether it's pointless or not, or at least I didn't think that what the topic was about. I thought it was about teh fact it was a "certain members only", which intentional or not, is the way it comes across.
that's been my point the whole time.
it isn't intentional, and i just dont think its fair that we're being ripped for being friends. i personally have realised after posting threads that they were idiotic, hence why there haven't been any for a few days, and probably won't be. but with that i'm talking about the specific ones, not ones that one of us happens to post and the others are the only people who are interested, because we cant't help that, it happens to everyone where you realise that it's just been you and one or two more people talking in a thread, sometimes on topic, but it happens a lot off topic aswell, and it makes me personally feel like i'll look like a bit of an idiot if i post a reply to the op, because it feels as though i'm butting into a conversation.

Seriously though you could have u2u'd me billy or even spoken to me on MSN if you felt this way - I had a lot of respect for you, and probably would have toned down earlier.

I'm not really sure what to say atm... I don't think it's very fair that you're [you regarding people in this thread] picking on our "group". I would have thought you would have all known me better by now to know that I do not fit into the stereotypes you have been giving us. Fair enough I post some stupid things, but most of the time I try to keep the subject general to include everyone. It isn't my fault that I get posts written about me, and it feels like your attacking me.

As for Hannah, yes she's posted one or two "pointless" threads. But they were pointless to YOU [plural]. Sometimes I think these posts such as "what do you prefer: orange juice or apple juice" equally as pointless. I mean, what is the point of knowing that!? are you going to put it on that record for the rest of your life? etc.

seriously, don't refer to us as the "group". We all know who we are as does everyone else, so please at least agknowlege names?

That's what you are though? You guys made yourself the "group", nobody else.
...no, we didn't, billy.
...yes, you did, hannahhhh. When people start posting random **** in the forum when others don't get it, and then certain members reply with a load of bull that no-one else gets, obviously you will be known as a group.
what because we're friends?
and being KNOWN as a group doesn't mean that we made ourselves a group

Well I dunno anything about that, I'm just talking about the silly ones :\
hmm.
well i've noticed you do it quite a lot, but i haven't held it against you, or any other members for that matter. fair enough we all judge eachother by our posts on here, but it's absolutely insane to have a go at people for THREE PAGES because of what?
3 threads?

I think the problem is we're on a forum where people are much closer friends than on any other forum.

It seems the so called "group's" friendship is being reflected in the way they post, and if loads of people are noticing this then it's obviously a problem for them.

I don't think anyone is against them being friends, it's just some people dislike the threads they post where people can't join in. Even though there's no actual comment saying "Only 'one of us can' write in this thread", I think a lot of people are feeling it. As much as I like these people, I wouldn't know how to reply in some of their threads, so I just close them and ignore them.

Even though I'm sure the people posting these threads have no intentions on isolating anyone from the forum, maybe it's having that effect.

I think the best thing is, if you've got a problem with these threads just ignore them, there's plenty of others to post in and there's plenty of other people on the forum to talk to.

Everyone is entitled to post what they want but maybe sometimes people should think about what they're posting before they do so.

At the end of the day, it's not your life, it's hardly school... it's just meant to be a fun forum.

It doesn't matter if its on MSN. A lot of people didn't understand the Amy21 thing (especially if Scampi didn't who signed up in April 07, and I signed up months later and the threads were still going), just as a lot of people don't understand the MSN conversations. Pointless threads made. Similarities? I think so.
lmao, I dont think you're quite grasping what I'm saying. People could, and would know about the Amy21 thing as it happened on the forums, the threads made by me and co were obviously not a problem considering nothing was ever said, nor was it excluded to certain people at the time they were posted, and when you said before that it was the same people posting in them, that' c**p tbh cos there was loads of people who posted in them, and most of them was actually bumping up things Amy had posted, just to say "hey remember this haha", but it was never on such a big scale as this was. We didn't post the threads day in, day out.
LOL. How do you know it didn't cause a problem? A few people in here have said they didn't want to say anything but will because someone else has. I had a few people say to me that the threads are annoying if that means anything to you. And I don't think it matters where its said, if loads of people are unsure about something whether its on MSN or in past years, does it matter? I just think its funny how you're suddenly defending pointless threads for ones you were involved in.

Threads weren't made all the time but there were quite a few pointless posts with things like "I heard Amy21 thinks ..." which was completely unrelated. Thats no better IMO. Your name also doesn't suggest it was just a now and again thing.
Lmfao, I think you'll find from the very beginning since I posted in the thread, i said it was the "exclusive" threads that I for one was sick of.
Why is that any different to an exclusive thread? Exclusive to those who know what they're on about whilst one group laugh at it whilst half the forum have no idea whats going on because they weren't around? Hmm. You really can't see what I'm saying can you? Pointless threads are pointless threads, sugarcoat it how you want but you were involved in them once which gives you no right to slag off others for it.

And my "name" Tom has nothing to do with it because I added "21" at the end does that mean anything relevant atall? Nope didn't think so.

Hannah I did (and still do ) post pointless silly threads, that's not what I think people are annoyed at, i think it's the whole Sia/Hannahhh/Annie etc etc etc threads where it only applies to like one person.
