i dont like the moaning about the whole bring back live feed but i understand the point very much, its what the show is all about, and to plus to that, bb is 10, why make it more worse in its 10th and pivitol year than what it was when it began here...so everyone here, and everyone else that reads this makr sure to sign the petition and send our last driving force of emails to channel 4 tonight to give them a something to think about whilst endemol have left them with the decision!!!!!!

endemol definately need to take big brother to a different channel cos its obvious c4 are having severe money problems and c4 could go bust any moment which would finish big brother so endemol need to pull out of channel 4 before its too late.

Firstly, shortly after 4pm the first reports that the meeting had been successful were posted on Digital Spy by mrmarky, an insider who has posted reliable information in the past.

Shortly afterwards another two sources who have previously provided reliable information appeared to back up the news that the live “red button” feed would be reinstated, but it would be a few days before it could be put into place.

Separate, unconfirmed, sources suggested that despite the huge number of complaints received over the axing of the live feed, and Endemol’s concern these complaints were from the fans of the show, not the critics, C4 were refusing to re-evaluate their decision, which led to Endemol issuing an ultimatum - reinstate the live feed or we’ll pull the series.

Another unconfirmed rumour is that Endemol left the meeting believing the live feed would be reinstated, but senior bosses at C4 then over-ruled the decision.

A number of people have contacted C4 since the rumours first leaked, and their official line is still that there will be no increase in live coverage and that the red button feed won’t be returning.

However, later this evening more sources from within Endemol have come forward to say the live feed will be reinstated, but it will not be officially announced until everything is in place for it to happen, which will take a few days.

Dear Glenn,
Thank you for your e-mail querying the availability of the red buttoninteractivity on this years' BIG BROTHER.
The red button 24-hour streaming facility was discontinued prior to the lastseries of CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER and we have no plans to reintroduce thisservice for the current edition of BIG BROTHER.

The main reason behind this decision is that we?ve found the number ofviewers choosing to use the red button facility has dropped significantlyand more and more viewers chose to watch the clips provided on the officialBig Brother and other websites.
So we have shifted our resources to coverthese areas and have new fanzones, on Twitter and Facebook as well as ourown site, and we?ll also be working extensively with partners such as bebo,youtube and MSN to deliver footage to Big Brother fans to keep them fully upto date with what?s happening in the house.
However, live streaming will be available on both E4 and Channel 4 latenight/early morning and we will be showing all the other great shows thatmake up the BIG BROTHER experience, like BIG BROTHER'S LITTLE BROTHER ANDBIG BROTHER'S BIG MOUTH.

Further to add... A Public announcement from channel 4 will be held shortly regarding the live coverage, the official line from channel 4 at the moment is that there is no live feed.

But I'm pleased to announce they are taking steps to re-enable live feed over the next 24-48hrs. stay tuned - it is happening.
