...ahhh thank you for your recommendations..I might not get to listen to them all this morning but I promise you I will listen to them all...this is the one I'm listening to right now and I love it actually.....CeeCee don't be waving this Avenged voodoo at me you temptress.....

..I listened to them all..I would have to listen to them more to choose a favourite but Fiction though....yeah they're a good band, I liked all of those songs and will listen to more of their stuff..also when you post pics of the lead singer/ M Shadows is it..?...as being 'hot'..I've always thought hmmmm, I don't see that really but I don't think the pics always do him justice..he's a really handsome guy....thank you for giving me some great music CeeCee......

Love fiction. You won't believe the story behind it. They started the band in 99 with a childhood best friend that they've known since they were 12. He died in 2009. And this fiction song, he handed the demo to the lead singer M shadows 3 days before he died. So because the vocals on the demo was near perfect, as a tribute to him they left it as it is and M shadows just added his vocals to it. But if you listen to the words he sort of saying goodbye so because of this people are saying he killed himself but the band say that it was an overdose and an enlarged heart so they see this song as clairvoyant prophecy of his own death (if that makes sense). Anyway they still perform this song. It's nice that they want to keep his memory alive but it gets so painful for them. There's one time when they performed it, the guitarist just stopped playing walked backstage and when he walked back out he had teary eyes. Another thing is a night not too far from his death he left his jacket at the other guitarist home. 5 seconds later the guitarist was like Jimmy come back you forgot your jacket. And jimmy was like, nah you keep it man. The guitarist said it was almost as if he knew he was going to die because that was the guitarists fave jacket. So he says Jimmy left it for him as a gift. The guitarist hasn't touched the jacket since it's still on his coat hanger. Also the song was called Death initially but because Jimmy called himself fiction, they renamed the song fiction.

So far away is about Jimmy "the rev" too.

..wow, what a story..both of them, that he wrote the song just before his death and also with his favourite jacket...but you’re right, these things do sometimes just happen for no reason/out of character type thing and then they come to mean so much and it's so thought provoking...it’s not that he knew/could have known but something made him leave the jacket that day.....I can see why they recorded the song as a tribute but it’s great that they still sing it live because that must be so painful for them..but maybe at the same time it makes them smile a bit when they think about him and they probably think he would have loved that they perform it..?.. and music is about feeling emotions anyway..happy/sad etc..and memories....have you ever seen them live/do they have anything planned in the UK anytime soon..?...
