Good win for us tonight against Histon.1st half we were a bit disjointed and carried on how we played against Crawley but we actually were solid at the back and managed to grab a goal from Morison.2nd half we played some lovely one touch passing football but failed to get the 2nd goal and Histon managed to score with their first real chance of the half.We got a deserved winner though after Arber headed in Miller's corner.

On the downside Bramble and Cole went off injured and with Molesley and McMahon injured and Damian Batt still not match fit we are down to about 17 players already as 2 went out on loan yesterday .

They only show the highlights of our games if we are in the FA Cup or semi/final of the FA Trophy .

Sunderland seem the best equipped of the new sides and will probably finish mid-table.Birmingham were quite good going forward but poor at the back.

I thought Liverpool outplayed Villa for much of the game.Petrov did get the ball but he was all over Gerrard in the process lol.

Crawley will be a difficult game, their defenders just cling onto strikers, not that the ref notices.Madjo and Pittman are quite lively upfront.
Yak is off to Everton and Boro want Afonso Alves who says he wants to join. We've signed his replacement - Matusiak of Palermo who was wanted by Villa last summer. Paulo Sergio a young Brazilian has also joined and Sulejmani is meant to be the best up and coming youngster in the Eredvisie (he's a Serb) We drew our 1st game 0-0 at home to Willem II without Afonso, so we are desperate now for a striker

The 3 that came up all look useless. Sunderland getting whipped by Wigan 3-0 and signing Andy Cole does not instill confidence. They'll have to make the Stadium of sh*te a fortress as they won't get much on the road. Birmingham look like Arsenal rejects and Derby look worse than last years Watford.

England missed Gerrard, at least his dives v Germany. Netherlands lost to Switzerland 2-1

Crawley were pants and we won easy. York game was 1-1 on Monday. Droylsden away Saturday and Weymouth at home Monday. 4 points at least hopefully!

Stevenage 2-0 up at Kidderminster in injury time, so looks like 3 points for you tonight

Glad to see at last Southend have managed a win. It is about time.

Lets hope we can stay in division 1 this year and for a few years to come until we get our new ground.

You have already started a thread where people can state their opinions on football.
From the title of this is, it is for people who want to talk about football, ie. matches, players, it's not really for stating your opinion on football as a sport, more so for, i am assuming, who you support, the matches they have played, international matches, etc.

You don't see me posting about how rubbish and boring other things are, so just leave people to talk who wish to talk about football in peace.

England did well today, much better performance than in recent games, certainly not the boring football we have become accustomed too with England.Heskey did well upfront and it obviously benefited Owen who scored a cracking goal.Wright-Phillips and Richards could be the future down the right hand side, great performances from the pair of them.Barry did a good job in midfield and all.

I see Accrington got a good win today then Becca, that was much needed after recent results.

We don't play until monday night, home to Stafford which hopefully will be another win and we could possibly go top if Torquay fail to beat Burton.
