I think that's a world record for the best victory in a Champions League game. Well I was reading that it WAS 7-0, before the games

I kinda got the feeling that Liverpool would end up winning very easily, obviously not by eight but easy nonetheless, as soon as it got to half time.I just felt they were showing a huge amount of urgency and incisive passing that would tear Besiktas apart. The amount of space for Arberloa and Benayoun was unbelievable.

Scotland are currently drawing 1-1 with Italy...

and Israel are currently beating Russia 1-0!

So both good results for the Home Nations so far

Shouldn't have been a free-kick that led to their goal. But we can't complain too much on that score cause the linesman ruled out a goal that would have put Italy 2-0 up.

We needed to win anyway, I think.

Israel seemed to be under so much pressure 2nd half and were shattered but go and get a winner on the counter attack, we've got lucky lol.We best not **** it up against Croatia now.

Well Done to Southend Utd last night for a fantastic 4-1 win over a bunch of sore losers. One loser was so sore that he stamped on a Southend player at the end of the game. His name is Frank Sinclair (below) and I hope they throw the book at him. It's players like that the game can do without.

Looking at the FA website it would seem Frank Sinclair has been given a four match ban. At least the Huddersfield Town haven't appealed against the ban.

They wont do, most likely they saw the video replay of the incident and knew there was no point.
