^ Maguire/English defender red card in the 1st 5-10 minutes vs Bale and off we go.

--------
It would need to be a 4 goal win for Wales though.

Table would potentially be like this:

USA 3 1-2-0 +1 5
WAL 3 1-1-1 +2 4
ENG 3 1-1-1 0 4
IRN 3 1-0-2 -3 3

Of course it's very unlikely, but due to today's results, possible...

I looked at the scenarios and there is actually a way for both England and Wales to advance over Iran and USA.

If Wales beat us and USA and Iran draw they'd go through on goal difference

Quite a few experienced pundits including Big Sam and Stuart Pearce saying we should make wholesale changes for Wales .. one ex player ( name escapes me ) said to play the other guys to give them a boost and see who impresses plus it protects Kane and the others who Southgate worships . It’s extremely unlikely that the talented bench will lose more than 3:0 so what is there to lose ?
