Default Maxwell: the male Michelle?

Last year Michelle fell head over heels for Stuart and made her feelings very clear and he genuinely liked her too [which she must have sensed] but didn't want to do anything in the house. This year Maxwell has fallen head over heels for Saskia and has made his feeling clear and she may or may not genuinely like him too but doesn’t want to do anything in the house.

However, last year Michelle was hated for it and this year Maxwell is respected for it.

UNFAIR!! It’s a double standard, as always. If women do it they are called 'man eating slags' but men are called 'puppy dogs.'

The relationship has yet to go through all the emotions that Michelle and Stuart’s did I am wondering if his ‘love’ will last? [After all he liked Sam for the first week].

Now don’t get me wrong, I like them both but last year I found I was always standing up for Michelle and Stuart so wanted to discuss the parallels with you lot.

What do you all think about the similarity?
