perhaps jj...hard to call. Or it could be he just doesn't care and is not afraid. He musta known that going up on the roof could have had dire consequences for him but he stuck two fingers up at BB anyway.

The way he pathologically obsesses over Noirin, the way he has tried to break her down and create a dependence situation where she needs him. the way he steps in to control her interaction with other housemates in a divide and conquer way. The way he lurks in the background in plain view when she talks to other guys, attempting to intimidate them into leaving her alone, his ideal would be a situation where she has no other friends in the house but him, her confidence being dependent on his input.

he was talking with Bea who said something along the lines that people are too carefull these days with food and hygiene etc and this tends to lower peoples immune systems.

Marcus replied - yeah thats why i drink puddle water and swallow my food whole without chewing in cos my stomach juices are so strong and that.

I have never agreed so wholeheartidly with anyone on an internet forum as I have with you regarding this post. I do however trhink BB will get the last laugh with Marcus in the end.

i could just go yawwwwn to this. But some good points made.

However all HMs want to win. All have game plans. Yes they do.

And observers(you, me) tend to read into situations what they want to see.

Marcus obsesses over Noirin? Maybe. Or maybe he(and her too)are somewhat complicit in the whole Marcus/Noirin story line. They must know it gives them coverage. Indeed their story line has largely made BB this year(so far).


Has he really moulded her into a dependance situ? Not really. I think Noirins association with Marcus has perhaps made her more perceptive and cynical re other people. Marcus has mostly been proven to be spot on in his assesment of others and i think this has dawned on Noirin thus making her more likely to adopt some of views etc.

Noirin may lack a wee bit re self belief in her own abilities, she does always profess to be 'confused' and her logic is often puzzling but i dont think this is down to Marcus. I think there was a post somewhere on here that had the HMs IQ and Marcus scored well above average and Noirin scored very low so perhaps she is adopting some of his traits in lue of having difficulty developing her own stance re HMs and house situations. But again i dont think Marcus is a big bad wolf out to 'break her down' etc.

we also have to realise that BB is an entertainment show and to a large extent constructs characters and story lines through carefull editing.
