Default How many rejections will Maxwell take?

I think Saskia is regretting leading Maxwell on, the rejections get more by the day & it's winding him up? How long before he blows? BB better be ready to catch the fall out from the backfire of this ill judged tactic me thinks! Lead a geezer a merry..

Either way, it's not right. She's playing games with his head, led him on and now doesn't want it.

Made a rod for her own back, as bad as each other

Hmm thought about this a while and regardless of who, what, sex, everyone does it or has done it ( if you havent then my apologies> you might do!.........not sure about the stalking..... these people are trapped in a game show so can it count?.

Saskia has allowed this to happen for what ever reasons, maybe her insecurities?, maybe she thought it would benifit her one way or another by getting the boys behind her. ........Maybe she really likes the swearing, theiving, lying fun loving geezer ( who can tell rofl )

Like most dynamics........ not all is as it seems and its only week 3

I think Saskia is just as bad as Maxwell! She obviously likes him as a friend but she was the one who went to snog him in the love loft on the dates! She has always said she does not fancy him just see's him as a good friend so she should have kept it like that but she still leads him on! I think she's confused as to what she wants now hence all these cold shoulders!

I know it's not that simple in a game show but Saskia really needs tell him what she really wants from him and be done with it.

I guess her problem is by going with Maxwell she has put all her eggs in one basket, and if Maxwell was to turn against her she would be left on her own in the house. She really hasn't mixed well with the others and I think she will find it hard to find a friend among the other girls in the house.

Why? She should exploit and manipulate the little idiot as much as possible for her to get into the last four....this is big brother not the "nicey nicey show".

Next, she should (and is already doing) exploit the geordie cardboard cut out and guilt trip Craig.

I don't like Saskia but good on her.

Because these people have to live together and they are real people.... it's not a soap show were people live in total conflict 24/7

What she doesn't realize it's all starting to back fire on her with the general public. Playing the game isn't always the best move, especially if you play it nastily. Look at what happened to Victor last year when he took on Shell.

Everyone seems to be blaming/siding with either Maxwell or Saskia in this discussion but I wouldn't criticise either of them.

Maxwell really fancies Saskia so he's hanging out with her and flirtingly letting her know he likes her, which is fair enough.

Saskia doesn't fancy Maxwell but she really likes him as a friend, so she's hanging out with him and generally trying to avoid going beyond a point which Maxwell could perceive as romantic interest. The one obvious occasion where she broke this rule was when she snogged him on the speed-dating night and maybe you could criticise her for that, but in her defence the whole atmosphere of the night was light-hearted 'up-for-it' non-serious comedy banter.

With the benefit of hindsight Saskia probably realises that the snog was a mistake and that although the situation is obvious to everyone else, Maxwell's crush has skewed his objectivity and the snog has only made things worse.

But in general she's handled a precarious situation reasonably well. It was always going to be a situation which was ultiomately going to make her look bad. She really finds (found) Maxwell entertaining so she wants to hang out with him, but she doesn't fancy him so accusations of leading him on were always likely to surface.

Saskia knows full well that males think of sex every couple of seconds and she is taking advantage of such. She only has herself to blame if she gets pestered. Don't stirr the oil if you don't like people to get greasy......

Maxwell is of course the typical egotistic male that cannot understand why any women cannot resist but to fall for his charms. Charms. Ha Ha Ha...Jack the lad who only has confidence with a skin full of booze......Get back to the building site Maxwell and whistle from afar......that's as close as you will get......

He will take as many as she gives because he is incredibly dense.

As you may have guessed I'm not a Maxwell fan. He is dozy and indolent and I am at a complete loss as to why he was chosen to go in. He is also quite nasty. His behaviour when the 'nominations scandal' clip was shown was really childish.

I also am not keen on Saskia - she was horrible to Mary, and showed no compassion to Sam. Together she and Maxwell are a snidey pair.

However I don't blame Saskia for 'leading him on' by kissing him in the speed dating. If that was the case, Kemal would be equally justified in trailing after Roberto like a consipated cod fish.

Undoubtedly Maxwell is unable to comprehend that sitting on the edge of somone's bed chatting to him does not mean they 'want' him. Dear me, does he not have a mirror? How can someone so young have let his body become such a pale, podgy amorphous mass? You have to really work at being that idle. Like the similarly unsculpted and blobby Craig, I suspect he is a cosseted mummy's boy.

I think she wishes he wasn't so besotted with her but I don’t think she led him on apart from the kiss during the speed dating. Now Sam, she led him on, she flaunted herself, talked about sex with him said he’d be good in bed etc but Saskia has not done anything provocative or sexually leading, she has just been herself and been friends with him. So I disagree with the basic premise that she led him on. She hasn’t.

I agree, and this was the issue I brought up in a thread a few days ago, that it always seems to be the woman who gets the blame. Should a woman be-friend a man who fancies her? It seems to me she is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t

But that’s not what’s happened so far, she is getting just as much flack as he is, not that I think he should either, he's just in luuuuurve.

How has she led him on? Apart from the kiss, she has been his friend and she has made it clear she thinks he is a great bloke but she rejected his romantic advances every time. As I say above, she has not done anything to lead him on in a sexual way.

Dirty little slapper??? How exactly? [please be precise in your response as ‘she leads him on’ is not enough of an answer, I need to know how she has been a dirty little slapper before I will agree with you.]

Charming!! Are you really saying that because men think of sex all the time it’s the woman’s fault for not dealing with it!! Please tell me you’re not?
