Due to my own love of Tom and Jerry cartoons, I had to invest in as many of the (classic, shall we say – not the more modern ones) cartoons on DVD for my daughter. I know that it’s traditional to make the ‘underdog’ win, i.e. Jerry, but I swore I could remember more episodes when Tom had the last laugh.

So far, I’ve only come across two – there was one where (somehow) Tom turns invisible and the last shot is him chasing Jerry out of the house while whacking him with a fly-swat. The other is when Jerry and a baby duck are sunbathing on a beach thinking they’re safe and Tom appears behind them ready to eat them. Are there any more?

I’m afraid I’m a ‘Tom-man’ myself. I love seeing Jerry get his dues, after all, he is a thief!

I think its cause he is a cat though.

Everyone I seem to talk to likes Tom. I want to see him eat that little brown cheese-taker!
