Why anyone would want Tom on our tv screens in place of Marcus is beyond me.

Tom is such an utter bore.

Marcus - whilst not as pleasing on the eye - is cracking tv.

It just goes to show that BB is dominated by moronic, girly viewers and a similarly composed production crew.

Marcus, **** on Tom's skipping rope, trash the place and exit a hero.

The thing about Marcus is whether he is acting as a tool or a hero or confronting Big Brother or brooding he doesn't care or, at the very least, doesn't know because he has the same awareness as David Brent. He will never know that just being him is great entertainment to people around him. If he ever does grasp that he is a parody he will lose the very thing that endears him to some people.

I really like Tom. The way he swore to himself, whilst skipping in the garden, over a skipping error and he then realised that Hira was nearby. Tom said "excuse me Hira." I thought that was very curtious of him.

But I also agree that Marcus is good BB TV this year. Apart from his vile sexual innuendos, I find him very entertaining and I do think BB would be boring without him.

I find the hatred of Tom on here quite amusing.

I can see that most of the housemates distrust him, because Marcus has done a complete hatchet job on his character since he entered, But its as if many of the Tom haters on here, believe everything Marcus has said about him, blind to the reasoning behind it

Very good points. Marcus is doing to Tom (slagging him off to anyone who will listen) what Lisa did to Freddie at the beginning (slagging him off to anyone who would listen). The irony of this is that Marcus observed Lisa doing this at the time and criticized her for it. However I still find the rebel in Marcus entertaining.

Tom is a wonderful guy with good manners.
