Default Tom - one of the most pointless HM\'s ever?

Seriously; OK - he kind of spiced up the Noirin/Marcus/Siavash situation but he was a bit of a pointless addition if you ask me. Then he walked because he was bored, what a waste of time putting him on. Lots of people auditioned across the UK and also Ireland, yet he goes in and lasts 9 odd days.

Last night housemates were talking about how people try so hard to get in the house then theres people like Tom who get in and then walk after so long. Pointless and selfish. I think the reason 2 newbies have walked is because of the viewing figures.

I really wanted to like him. But he was miserable from the start and didn't make an effort. Whinging about the obvious; fakery? duh, its BB!

His eyes were too close together for my liking and all that gum chewing really started to irritate me. But I hear protein shakes do give you bad breath lol.

He had a superiority complex and was a bit snappy and rude at times. Overall he was a pretty pointless HM and won't be remembered.

And is he really only 27? He looks and acts more like 40-45 IMHO.

Nice pecs though.

Tom was cool.

He told it like it was.

Too many fake people in the house.

Was he a nice person? No
Was he a good housemates? Yes

Replace the name "Tom" with "Hira" and you might have yourself a question.

The most down to earth more like, thats why he couldn't take the childish situation with Noirin/Marcus. I don't blame him for wanting to get away from it all.

Tom destroyed Marcus in that epic LF night and he was part of the whole drama.

Hira/David/Kenneth were a waste of time.

I'm not a Tom fan but it was kind of a breath of fresh air to have him swoop in and **** all over everything and then fly away again.

His views of the other housemates were kind of like a commentary on the show from within the show which I appreciated.

The delayed reaction which saw Tom taking about two extra days to figure out that Noirin and Siavash had been kissing was a priceless bit of comedic non-timing, especially when you add in Charlie finally spilling the beans to the clueless-looking Rodrigo (who probably zones out a lot of the time) as a kind of funny chorus effect between the scenes.

I personally loved Tom and am disappointed he left.

As soon as he came in the house, he made it interesting... what with stirring up the Marcus/Noirin situation, the bitching sessions with Kenneth, his plotting in the secret task, telling Marcus straight that the way Marcus is acting with Noirin is creepy.... right up to his exit when he told Sophie about Kris. He actually provided a lot of entertainment in just one week.

Also, not to mention the fact he was just a nice, honest and likeable guy.

If you had a career and lifestyle like Tom then you CAN justify leaving BB fact. He will prob have an amazing summer ! It is a bit boring in there!

Yeah, I'd much rather have Tom's summer than mine spent watching Big Brother. Woah wake up call

That's not fact, that's opinion. You really don't know him just from watching him on BB for a week.

Likeable? Hmm not by some. And he really didn't need to upset Sophie like that. It's hard enough in there without dealing with that too.

I really liked him, but Marcus (and Bea) ruined his chance of enjoying it in there. I can't blame for leaving, but I was sorry to see him go.
A nice guy with a great body - what more do we want?!

i loved him. i'm still gutted he left, he had a chance of winning and he was guaranteed to make the final.
he would have stayed if the phone lines had stayed open, leaving marcus being evicted. marcus and bea pushed him over the edge, they turned the majority of HMs against him, leaving him with no choice but to walk from loneliness.

a great addition to the series, shame he felt isolated and therefore decided to walk

Tom was kool, he was most genuine housemate in there, it is a shame he left in a week.

Ken was pointless got in becaus eof his gf and left even sooner.
And
Hira other than horrible singing shes done nothing.

And can you blame him marc?
He was giving advice then made out to freddie that tom was having a go..
