What I thought was interesting about Halfwit is the fact he was happy to follow a gang (led by Bea) against Noirin in the diary room. Yes Noirin behaved badly (i'm glad she's out), but it wasn't so long ago he was feeling isolated and complaining about people grouping up against him.....

Well it's highlighted his weaknesses and contradictions.

What happened to being an individual?
Seeing things objectively, as they are?
Not tolerating nastiness and bi*chiness?
Not being a sheep and doing what's right?

He's very different now, he hasn't stood up to Bea once or told her the real score. He just sits there while she b*tches and plots, follows her around, lusts after her, etc. He's very deluded now.
