Default Tesco hides figures after missing target to reduce plastic bag usage

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle6737868.ece

This is Typical of Stinking Rich Tesco
to hide the True data.

Well Done the Times
to show this Tesco Corruption.

"Most plastic bags end up in landfill sites
where they can take up to 1,000 years
to decompose. Supermarkets issue more
than 4,700 tonnes of plastic bags every
month and most are used only"

Sign Of The Times.

I work on the tills and we just give the bags out like normal... if a customer asks for some we give them some. I can't be arsed to ask them if they want bags so I just get some ready for them before they get to my till.

Though I have to there has been a marked change in the number of reusable bags being used!

Uh, they may hide it to the public but not to staff we are always informed. I work in Tesco and know that bags are not being used as much. The ammount of people now re-using their bags has gone up alot... we don't have the bags on the end of the checkouts anymore, if a customer asks to use them you provide them with some.

Alteast we don't charge and atleast our bags are strong, instead of using 1 or 2 bags to hold a certain item. So shove your "sign of the times."

Arista will not say a bad thing about AsdaWalmart... It's all that Stinking Tesco's fault!

£175? Must be poo then.

One thing that is needed.. Freeview having the same options that OnDigital had many years ago.

The free normal channel but with the option to upgragde by ringing Freeview and setting up a Direct Debit for extra channels like..
Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3
Sky Movies
Sky 1 & 2
MTV
VH1
ESPN
The History Channel
Plus many many more.. All through Freeview, just like OnDigital did.

Very off-topic but heyyyyy!

Asda always have great offers on Andyman. Chicago Town pizzas were only £1 last week for instance. They always have loads on offer for £1 only. I always use Asda as they are so much cheaper than Tesco here. And yes, I do take my own bags 99% of the time.

Yeah Asda are good, but Arista is OTT with his hate for Tesco's, Tesco also have great deals.
