Vanessa has been leaping about in joy as Big Brother has finally allowed her to go back to her old cookie-munching ways.

Big Brother had forced her to eat drab meals in the Diary Room as punishment for refusing to sort maggots in the Workhouse task, but she has now been granted freedom to snack as she pleases.

"You have no idea what this means to me!" screeched Vanessa. "It's the happiest I've ever felt in my whole life!"

Bursting out of the Diary Room she sprinted around the House hugging each of Team Diva.

Embracing Derek she gasped, "Can you believe it's finally over?"

"Oh darling!" congratulated the Tory kissing her on each cheek.

She really must be a cookie monster to get that excited!

Does anyone else think it kind of ruins the point of the punishment if she stored all her food all week long and is eating it all now, she should have had to have her punishment until the new shopping arrived, it would have made a bit more sense.

I really don't understand this attitude towards Vanessa.

Firstly Mike, she did NOT eat... anything..... other than in the bedroom and she was not 'eating all the time', that's just rubbish.

Secondly Kore, what on earth has she done to justify going out of the back door, or are we still harping on about the ONE thing she did wrong two weeks ago with the maggots?

Thirdly kd, Fangz-a-Lot and Tanser_Man, surely after a week of not eating [other than the plain food in the diary room] she is allowed to have a celebration? People have been saying she is dull, then, she does something fun/nice and she still gets complaints. Why does her excitement automatically have to be fake or false? I know if it was me, I'd be genuninely delighted.

I for one think she has been REALLY good about it, she had one evening where she was a bit down about it but other than that she hasn't moaned or complained or tried to draw any attention to herself over it. I think she has been admirable over this and good on her. Can you imagine Science's reaction [ranting, 'I'm hungry man!'] or Makosi [sob sob, 'Poor me.']?

No, Vanessa has been fantastic over this and I think she deserves credit for it.

she just sits there and bitches all day.. and she doesnt really do anything else.. apart from sleep and eat loads.

she got all the housemates up for talking, and wasnt even sorry for it.. in my opinion she should have been banned from nominating the following week.

she does nothing.. just tried to kiss everyones arse to stay out of the public vote. and i dont respect her for that.. thats the boring way to play it. shes greedy, lazy and selfish.

she also bothers with smug kemal and makosi, which makes her more unintresting.

It was about time she got to eat again properly the poor lass.I think the punishment was a bit harsh.I think BB just saw that a lot of peeps wanted Vanessa out,like they did in the second week eviction.
