It kind of raises the question what would you prefer Love and no money or money and no love.
Seems like he will be living an unhappy life, where most people hate him and all his friends are using him, all for that money. Money isn't everything, I hope he lives a very unhappy life, rich or not rich. It is fair to say if he keeps it up, he won't find love any time soon.
