I think he chose wisely and well. Kate won't mind because she gets to snuggle up to Mr Vacant, and at least Jade is away from the horribly smug PJ

I also almost enjoyed the programme

I am liking Alex more and more!

I think it's unfair as well purplequeen.

I wouldn't have taken PJ though, but I would have taken Spencer instead of Sophie.

Well, I was nearly right with my prediction!

Although I'm pleased Alex chose Jade and Adele to live on the rich side with him, I'm afraid he's made a bad move in picking Sophie and not Spencer. Spanky is NOT amused ......... beware, Alex.

And ROB, if the allegations about his hygiene are true, Kate might not be so keen to cuddle up to Spencer - especially if he's still wearing those smelly trousers!

I think Alex is just too ecstatic at getting to live in the rich side to realise the possible repercussions of his decision. It was an impossible choice to make.

As I see it Alex has been a gentlemen to take the girl's across with him. Look at it this way, if you took Spencer would he get a shower anyway, Pj's got no hair to wash and didnt do a lot all week. Kate's now with Spencer, jonny could do with a stint over there anyway, and Alex get's on better with Sophie. I hope this is the last week of the poor, rich side though because their's going to be agro all week now because of this.

I have to say i don't think he's a gentleman i think he knew who he would take as he is laughing so much about it and does'nt seem to care who@s upset on the poor side but good on jonny and kate for being so cool about the whole thing

I Enoyed tonights task night in spite of those confounded bars.

I also think Alex chose well. Under the circumstances it was the best choice.

After the cruel way JP treated Jade I think he has got his just deserve. Tough on Spencer but he has Kate as a consolation.

It could be a negative win for Alex in the long run as he now may be certain to have at least 4 people nominate him.

BB are playing a cunning mental endurance game this year. Like it or hate it it's still interesting to watch their reactions.

It just frightens me that I live possibly about 2 miles from Alex.

I may have to move!!!

To those who think he chose well, no he did not. Had he taken PJ or Spencer instead of Sophie, it would have looked as if he tried to give everyone a turn on the rich side, but unfortunately there were not enough places.

By snubbing PJ and Spencer, and surrounding himself with three girls, he has shown himself for the creep he is.

I suppose the division is clearer now, as the tomboy is with the boys, and the four girls are all together!

Given that Alex as been showing photos of his girlfriend (ex) and how he has taking PJ and Spencers comments on the chin, a "girl" he clearly is not.

Don't you watch the program, oldgit?

Yes I did!

I am not suggesting that Alex is gay, and yes I am aware he has had girlfriends, I saw last night's E4 and picked up on this over a week ago.

However, he is the only "man" I have ever known to stress about the toilet seat being left up, and that does tend to override all the other evidence...

On the other hand, (s)he could be a girl, and be a lesbian (only joking don't give serious reply!!!!)

Oh ROB! How can you call Spencer 'MR Vacant'??

i felt for him, because how could he choose between PJ and Spencer - two people who so clearly were both desparate to be on the poor side?

I think you are right about all the girls together. Actually, last weeks divide wasn't as significant, as Kate still spent as much time as she could with Spencer, and Alex with Sandy, so both sides weren't totally cut off, but this week I think they will have two definate groups - with the exception of PJ attempting to flirt with Jade again (possibly, depending on how horny he's feeling) I doubt they will interact as much between the bars, more keep to themselves.

At least I think they will.

You do that everytime you sit in a driving seat. and it's responsibility but it's a tough word so it's okay. :-)

The entire thing is a sucky process to go through and I've read before that if they all realised it, they could get the barriers down but there isn't a clear group leader, only people in there out for themselves.

Maybe Tim will be one to bring them together about the divide and he should have seen the opinion on the divide surely???

What could they do anyway, kick them all out??

I think it was johnny and/or spencer mentioning a strike of somekind to get rid of the barriers but nothing was done or mentioned further about it.

Warning by BB perhaps? The sound was turned off pretty smartly for a couple of seconds?

I thought the programme last night was great, it was much better than last weeks. I think C4 are starting to get their act together a bit.

Making one person choose was very mean, but it's great viewing and stirs things up a bit.

Also the task was much fairer this week, although as Alex went up, someone said something about him being good at darts didn't they? So he would have been favourite to win that task anyway.

So you're the one pandering to their Roman-Ampitheatre-is-TV-attitude.

Please stop it. There's enough conflict for you to watch on TV as it is already. We want to see humour. Jokes. singing. The odd backstabbing by people who are backstabbers is alright, but in this situation everybody is down and not their usual bright self so of course their meaner selfish side is going to show and come to the fore before anything else and that is something that we do not want to see.

So please stop it. Get rid of the bars, and let people act out who they REALLY are, not what they have to be.

Of course it was a very hard decision for anyone to make but I think Alex was wrong to chose Sophie who has a lived in luxury on the richside all week, over one of the guys from the poorside, that is just 'nomination suicide! Spencer was more annoyed about the girls comments stating they would have chosen all the girls if it had been one of them, but he was very put out about Alex's choice of Sophie too. He did show his annoyance but in a much more mature and laid back way than PJ. I didn't like PJ before this incident but I dislike him even more now. What a thug he became, and he is supposedly going to be a Lawyer someday....well I wouldn't go near him if I needed legal help. To say he would have punched Alex had he been in the outside world was awful and revealed the true PJ, although bursts of his nasty nature have been revealed towards Jade often enough. What a nasty piece of work he has proved himself to be. So he was annoyed at Alex understandably, but to show it with such agression and with such evil intent was so unecessary in the enviroment he is in and with the knowledge that after all this is just a game however hard. I would not be surprised if he is up with Alex for eviction next week....horrilbe man!!!

I agree Honey.

PJ never made much of an impression on me for the first couple of weeks and he was never a favourite, but he seemed OK.

This last week has really brought out a nasty side to him and I am not impressed at all.

If he is up for eviction this week I certainly know who I'll be voting for.

Absolutely. I may not go as far as Helen did in TODAY'S NOTW, but my finger will certainly be hitting the redail button a few times.

Judging by the tickertape at the bottom of the screen in BBLB, a lot of others feel that way too!

As far as PJ's behaviour is concerned after the darts task, I think in the pressure cooker atmosphere created in BB3 his reaction does not make him a thug, we all threaten things we'll never do, and I am more concerned about other aspects of his behaviour than his reaction to Alex. People say hurtful and nasty things in the heat of the moment.

I have my own theories at the moment about people's reactions to certain housemates:

Alex is okay and funny because despite the fact he is a complete prat, and constantly makes an ass of himself, girls find him attractive (I can't see it myself, but there you go).

PJ is evil and nasty because, despite the fact that he makes himself a prat less often than Alex, he is prematurely bald and unattractive to all women except Jade.

Alison is black and fat, so people were looking for reasons not to like her, despite the fact that she was the most entertaining person in the house, just to keep in the allegedly good-looking prat.

Am I close?

Have they managed to smuggle Paul Clarke back in then? Helen will be jealous.

It's a shame Alex won the task, really. He was starting to grow on me a little and he's guaranteed to be nominated for eviction. On the other hand the public isn't likely to evict him unless he's up against Spencer, so perhaps it doesn't matter quite so much.
