Anthony and Craig have been trying to keep Maxwell's spirits up as he faces the public vote once more. Anthony is relishing the battle whereas Maxwell's more subdued about it.

"I knew you'd be up against one of them," said Anthony. "Mate, you're safe."

But Maxwell asked his friends not to make assumptions like that. None the less, he was shocked to be in this position again.

"What have I done ********** wrong?" he asked. "I've got to get past him. He's been the centre of everything, the feller," he grumbled about his adversary.

The boys are right behind him"The man's entertainment, I think," said Anthony. "With his arguments and all that. Sometimes a nightmare to live with, but..."

"I'm the person that he dislikes the most and he's the person I dislike the most," was Maxwell's assessment of the coming battle.

"Let's get it on," said Anthony.

Trust Craig to add a bit of drama. He told the lads, "I've lost my mother. I don't want to lose my father." And that's despite saying Maxwell was like his brother only yesterday. He can't be both.

Maxwell told them he didn't want a fuss if he goes on Friday. He just wants to shake hands and "******* off".

"You're not going to give us a cuddle?" asked Anthony, not Craig.

"Oh, yeah, I'll give you a cuddle," Maxwell assured him.

..just goes to prove a point..Max doesn't think he's invincible as people have been saying, he's not smug..just a genuine guy

I personally prefer Science,but think he'll go friday.His game has been a strange one and I don't think its strong enough against max's lad appeal.

Says it ALL mike - to go before those two is a disgrace, an insult & wrong. They've both contributed from day 1, not sat around eating & bitching - it's going to get more boring if this keeps up!

I think Science has to go but Maxwell will be getting stronger and stronger as the weeks go on. I think Science will look to pick an arguement with maxwell before the week is out to make him look bad. I just hope Maxwell stays lively and continues to entertain us.

Maxwell and Science have been arguing on and off for the last hour or so and not just because im a Maxwell fan but Science has been the one starting the arguments, hes finally gone to bed now though.

Ahh Im not watching it at the moment but shall look forward to seeing it. I can see Science also winding maxwell up so much he might lash out and be kicked out I just hope maxwell doesnt fall for his dirty tactics and rises above all the comments he makes.

I must admit that does seem like what Science is trying to do, hes really good at winding people up.

Only a few more days then they wont really have to see each other again, apart from the re-union party of course.

Most of the time Science argues really lets him down I think he is a smart bloke most of the time but when he thinks hes better than everyone and he always has to be right gets annoying. I think his distance from everyone has let him down.

Science is 1/3 odds to go,Max at 9/4.The same odd given last Tuesday with Saskia(1/3).As the days went up to Friday,Saskia had odds of 1/10,1/14,1/40.I think it'll be in the region of 1/33 by Friday with Science.

Hi SMC, Sorry, but I think Maxwell is smug - all the comments last week like "they deserved to go, we don't deserve to go" (when he and Saskia were up), "Can you put someone else up for eviction" (obviously thought he and Saskia would beat anybody else in a public vote), and the fact that he can't understand why he's been nominated. He is smug - and he's scared, because he knows that even if he survives this week, he will probably be up next week, and the next etc.

I guess it's all down to people's perspective.

i disagree there..Maxwell isn't smug at all,..when he said ' can you put someone else up for eviction?' her was obviously just messing around ..and i can't blame him because i wouldnt know why i would of been nominated either..he's done nothing wrong this week and once again has proved to be the most entertaining HM of the lot..

Well like I said, it's all down to perspective. I didn't think he was messing around in the diary room when he said that, I thought he was being arrogant, and they should have taken the news that they were up for eviction on the chin, like others did when they were up. Instead he and Saskia were like little children, saying it's not fair it's not fair. To be honest, both he and Science seemed to take it fairly well from what I saw last night. I agree I can't understand how Makosi isn't up for eviction (NO nominations last night) or Vanessa, but I personally find Maxwell arrogant and cocky. But it's the fact that we all like different people that make it interesting viewing, and that make this forum a good place to visit!
