I think that is rather different, really, in both nature and scale.
Well I'd prefer food to money, you can't live without food, if he doesn't give a **** about what they eat why woud he give one about what they win at the end?
As I have said, it is completely different in nature and scale.

To sustain the comparison you have attempted to make, Marcus would have had to deliberately deprive them of all food. Which, of course, is not what happened.

He caused most of the food to be taken away, it would be the same with the money, he would stay until most of it was gone

Well, as I have said, it is entirely different in nature. I don't think one can legitimately compare the absence of "luxury" food items, which has a quite temporary effect, with the deprivation of a large prize fund which could have a significant effect on a person's life.

Okay then but I doubt it'll be temporary, I don't see them winning anymore tasks, it took them 9 weeks to win that lot

Well that does not mean it is not temporary. I mean, luxury food items would only last a limited time anyway, obviously. The punishment, as far as we are aware, does not even affect future luxury budgets, which they are quite capable of winning or not winning depending on their performance in future tasks.

And, of course, even if they were deprived of luxury budgets for the remainder of the show it would still not compare in scale to the deprivation of a large prize fund.

I think a few of the security guards would love nothing more than a call to go pull Marcy out of the house.
Even better.. drag him out via the proper exit and let the crowd have a huge laugh at how easily they throw him around and carry him out lol

Sorry but I have to call BS on that statement. Marcus didn't knowingly do anything to get the food taken away. BB didn't say "Marcus, if you do this, we will take the food away" and then he did it anyway.

If Marcus was told that the prize money would be lessened if he didn't leave, he would leave. He has routinely done things for the other housemates. And while some of the things he has done has affected the other housemates negatively, he is certainly not the only one (though often he is the only one who is blamed) nor has he ever done it while knowing what the punishment would be. So your statment is unfair.

Not that it matters anyway. He has said for weeks that he wants to go home. He'll leave happily. Though I'll admit him demanding that Davina come in to interview him would be great tv.

I'm rather hoping he goes into a secret house to watch them all scheme.
