Default talking about nominations - is this BB;s revenge for rule breaking?

I was just wondering if the rule about talking about nominations has been deliberately brought in to punish the likes of Marcus and Freddie in a backhanded way.

BB must know that with the house dynamics and bea switching sides, freddie, marcus and siavash are all in the firing line.

so what better way to punish tme?

make sure they are up for eviction.

if so, it is a big miscalculation. The show will die on its knees after next friday.

just think of the highlights over the past two weeks - all three of these have been (along with bea) directly involved in virtually every argument or discussion.

I suppose they may hope for a siavash vs bea confrontation but that will be about it.

have Bb producers tried to be too clever again?

I'm starting to think that BB really CBA this year and is trying to reflect that in the really bad cutting of the HL shows, the **** tasks, poor management of the HMs.

I am starting to think that BB are trying to make sure they don't come back next year and after this years BB and after marcus and freddie are gone i very much doubt they will be because the HL show will be **** without

**** HLs = **** ratings

Some good points here.I think BB really hasn't been able to control the sometimes rebellious housemates very well this year, and changing the 'no discussing nominations' rule seems an easy cop-out for BB,rather than to enforce their own rules.

Big Brother simply capitulated in the face of repeated rule breaking. To be honest, it was rather pathetic on the part of the programme-makers.

The 2 amigos were talking of not nominating. Endemol had to do something.

Siavash should have been ejected last week for a FUNDAMENTAL RULE BREAK of refusing to nominate. Insreed Hira got the boot for his petulance.

The show is really over once you condone fundamental rule breaks - might as well let them go to Tesco's to buy fags/cider when the LF is not on

Unless there is a hidden twist it is gonna shoot them in the foot as 2 of the most entertaining housemates are likely to go in next 2 weeks.

Yep, it was a complete joke; even Marcus laughed his ass off at their reaction. Do they expect us to take the show or the producers seriously anymore?

I find it stupid how they are REWARDING the housemates for breaking the rules. There has to be a twist somewhere in this whole thing.

Indeed. This was in fact the source of so much speculation about a "twist" to the nominations, as people found it hard to believe that Big Brother was just going to cave in.

Better than watching people bitching and smoking and complaining all day like most of the rest do.

Ah Claymores, I know that they acted like prats and deserved some punishment, but that's not what we're debating here. We're questioning the validity of the show now, with the producers just winging it at this stage and showing no consistency at all. They're just f£cking any integrity the show had, don't you think?

Hi setanta - I'm questioning the validity of the whole thing arter allowing Sia to break a FUNDAMENTAL rule, and punishing it by getting Hira evicted.

Hira only went because BB twisted the vote to keep Lisa in by making it a save vote.

And yes the punishment was slightly silly but this year Big Brother's punishing has been.. well terrible. I mean.. what is the "jail" going to do to housemates anyway? It's like one of the worst punishments imaginable.

This new discussion of nominations though is just awful. They basically rewarded the housemates for continually breaking the rules. They have now offically lost complete control of the housemates and nothing they can do about it.

Exactly. I honestly don't know who's running the show in there anymore - I'd like a shot at it at this stage. lol. Doubtful I'd balls it up as much as this lot has done.

Everything they've done in this series is limp, half hearted and displayed absolutely no creativity or conviction. It's manifested into a real sense of decay and staleness that I think has seeped into the housemates who sense that they are in the driving seats.

I think they've got Davina calling the shots now. She seems to have taken over everything else. I really do hope she loses her job this year for her blatant Marcus hate.

Default i agree dogface and bea should be up for eviction , if b.b doesnt put this right they will lose a lot of viewers and voters.

I think this week they should do the old let us decide 2 housemates we want to evict then housemates decide who goes. (like what they did in BB3 and BB6 when Lynn and Vanessa went)
