Default I don\'t believe Marcus when he says

he wants to go on Friday.

In the argument with Bea last night he kept denying he was in a group with Siavash and Freddie. He said several "negative" things about Freddie and when Bea was in the Diary Room spent lots of time justifying what he'd said to Charlie.

He seems to be very friendly with Charlie and I can't understand why he can't see through him. He trusted Charlie wouldn't vote for Freddie because Charlie had said it.

I think he is the only one in there that does not care too hoots about winning. Though ironically, if he keeps playing blinders like he did last night he could well do so

I watched the evening's events and did not hear him say anything negative (starting to feel uncomfortable with this word ) about Freddie at all. Far from it. When Bea was being very negative about Freddie he said he makes his own mind up about people and is not influenced by others - he takes people how he finds them and has always got on with Freddie.

His reaction when Freddie said he'd voted for him were not of a man disappointed. He does seem to want to go. He is not desperate to win like most of the others and some people can't handle that.

..I do believe him....he is on auto pilot...even his heated debate with Bea was a re-hash of all his discussions with Noirin....Bea even called herself Noirin2..............he is too proud to walk.........he is thinking ahead to all those LADIES he is going to be shagging on the Outside!
...I have grown to like him alot as a housemate ...but he did push noirin a bit.......generally ,in his attitudes towards WOMEN, he is a bit UNRECONSTRUCTED for 2009.............not misogynistic but a tad close at times. Women are there for men...not mutually.

I really think he does want to go this time.

He wouldn't have asked Freddie and Siavash to nominate him if he wanted to stay.
He's given fully logical reasons for wanting to go that totally fit his character also.

He's also very switched on to fake "i want to go home" ers so he knows it would just be transparent to keep on about it if he didn't genuinely want to go.

I think he's been one of the top three housemates this year and has contributed more to the show than Charlie,Lisa,Rodders and David put together but there's quite a few valid reasons that it is his time to go now.

Just seeing the look on Team Bea-atch's when Freddie stays will be reason enough on top of the fact that it's what Marcus wants.

I think he does want to go. He has repeatedly asked people to vote for him, even when doing so was against the rules. And he has gone to the diary room and asked BB to make it so he would be able to leave without quitting. He doesn't want to quit. In fact, he has made a vow not to do anything exciting this week so that viewers wouldn't be tempted to keep him in.

He has back-tracked on that already - by having an argument with Bea last night! We all know that arguments get airtime and often make those involved more popular - entertainment value and all that!

Do you really think he had this debate with Bea for that reason? It only turned into an argument because of how Bea chose to react. Marcus really does not give a stuff and is therefore untouchable. This reason you give is a very lame argument imo, not all housemates are obsessed with winning.

Marcus and Charlie were talking about music, it was Bea who steered it towards an argument when she announced she wanted to steal Freddie's alcohol. It was only when Marcus (quite rightly imo) said that this was uncool did Bea then start getting all stroppy and negative

If he does want to go it's probably because he is still self deluded enough to think he can bag Noirin.......

Personally I don't think for one fraction of a second of a moment that he wants to go.......All the better reason to help him on his way......

Maybe - but if he was as desperate to go as he says he is - he could have bitten his tongue!

Shame really, cos he will be going, but I'm glad Freddie is staying so that Bea doesn't think the public have vindicated her vile treatment of him.

I agree he denied being part of a group. However my interpritation of the Marcus Charlie conversation was that Marcus was trying to "Convince" Charlie of his point of view regarding Bea........In my opinion he was not trying to justify himself to Charlie.....

I would not dream of calling you a liar thats un called for as like you say its your honest opinion your interpritation......
