Default BB is CHEAP! Sack Davina!

i just found out davina makes 90,000 a week!

and yet the prize money for 3 months is 100,000!!

no second prize and way less magazine deals than last year!

bblb and bbbm dont pay!

the house/tasks/props etc are so cheap! (as marcus makes us aware every day)

It would be much more interesting if the money was more as people wouldnt walk out or not care if they go. this year HMs cared way more about "the experience" than winning!

Its making it worse! they should put in 500k prize money.. just sack davina!

90.000 per week is ridiculous, she does something basically anybody out there could do. Insane.

90000 a week...yet they seem to have a budget of like 50 quid a task?! No wonder BB is going down hill...

People are bored with big brother, it has nothing to do with it going downhill, this year has been 10x better than the last few years. People don't watch big brother for the tasks, they watch it for the people.

You'd think for £90,000 she would have to come up with some AWESOME questions instead of the regurgitated and re-hashed version of the same interview she does every week.

If you think this year's BB was better than it has been for years then we are clearly watching different shows.

OF COURSE it's gone down hill. You only have to have a look at the lack of money they've spent on the house, the tasks, the organization..............everything!!!!!!:rolleye s:
Yeah....the show is essentially about the housemates but even they can sense and have commented on the lack of things they've been given to do and the fact that this must be one of the worst BB's for years.

It's a widely aknowledged FACT that they've put NO effort into the show this year!

People are bored of it because most of the people are weirdo's and nut job's with a personality as bland as milk which has been off for 2 weeks.

Axing LF did them no favours either, cut Davinas pay packet in half and bring back LF

People are bored because although Big Brother is original, it has been done for the last decade. It's pretty repetitive for some people. I still enjoy it though with the right mix of people.

They should have two tasks a week, (it's only 1 ain't it). 1 for shopping budget, then the other for special prizes for the rst of them.

The tasks, to me, are basically at the same level they always have been. There are some good ones and some bad ones. Once they go throw a zillion tasks though, they aren't going to get any better. They have been through so many, they must be running out of ideas.

I am sure she would love to write her own questions, Davina is only the mouthpiece.

I like Davinas commitment to BB. She is BB and deserves what money she gets. If it was someone crap like george lamb presenting then I would agree, but Davina has grown with BB and has made eviction nights what they are. Go Davina

£90000 a year I think. It work out at less than 2000 a week. She was good as a zombie in "Dead set" though

Presenters make serious cash. Simon Cowell just signed a deal with American Idol for 45 mil a season.

I agree that they could probably increase the size of the prize but the magazine deals will happen if the magazines think they can make the money from the interviews. After all, that is a separate business and they are entitled to make decisions for themselves.

I watch the daily HL shows. 7 shows a week, eviction special is 8... the Big Mouth show and Little Brother shows with another presenter salary and constant editing crews working on shows is a serious production cost. Especially considering that it is a reality TV show, which is supposed to have the cheapest production costs and greatest profit margins for any TV network.

stuff like this really gets up my nose because we have these adverts on the telly begging us to pay money every week to help starving children in Africa -- why don't they ask the people who are earning millions of dollars for some money? i dare say they could give a few grand to buy the kids a new school and clean water or whatever?

Yes well I would certainly have to agree with every word of that. C4 have shown they no longer care about the show or the viewers. The worst thing they could have done was cut the live feed, now we only have the edited highlight show to rely on, which is past history by the time we get to see it. The through the night feed always used to start at around 10-30 now we're lucky if it starts before midnight!!! What useless moron thinks we are going to sit and watch 6 hours of sleeping housemates? Big Mouth is now only once a week rather than the 6 shows a week as in previous years. Basically it all adds up to stuff the viewers, lets make as much money as we possibly can from the fans and give fck all in return. They have even stopped giving some of the money raised from the evictions to charity. I rather they axed the show now rather than see it decline into obscurity. It's almost as if they are softening the fans up gently so there wont be such a public outcry when the axe finally does fall. Considering Big Brother raised C4's viewing figures to record levels, the show and the fans who made it such a success deserve to be treated with a damn sight more respect than what we are having to endure at the moment...
