Makosi and Orlaith ( makosis new best friend yawn ) have been discussing Derek and think that he wants to get rid of the girls so he can have the younger lads who are all gay or nearly gay except for science to himself.

Do they not get it that they are just not that popular and that is the only reason that Derek does not like them.

From what I can make out, they reckon science is straight yet he wants the girls out because *Kemal and Craig are young and gay*.

Derek is playing a cleaver game and keeping his head down in the house. He knows that he couldn't do anything to team diva and it was better to let them hang themselves on the public vote than make a big noise himself and put himself in the public firing line. He knows Makosi's game plan is falling apart and realizes all he has to do is wait.

He would have gained quite a bit of confidence from last nights public vote that his current plan is working. He didn't get booed after all he got cheered by the crowd and he has survived another vote and this time he did it comfortably and he realizes that.

I thought he would have picked Makosi on the night.... but looking back picking Vanessa fits into his game plan better. Picking Makosi would have amounted to sticking his neck out! Picking Vanessa got rid of Makosi's bitching partner and left team diva in a mess. And you have to remember Derek is a drama queen and getting rid of Makosi would spoil his fun later.

And yes Derek is grasping at straws.... but I think he has a better idea which ones to pick than most in the house.

I think the two remaining girls will now concentrate their bitching on anyone in the house who they see as being more popular than them (which really is everyone lol). The ones who got the biggest cheers will be the ones they have a go at.

Has anyone ever told those two "if you cant say anything nice about someone then dont say anything at all".

Why pick on Derek - Kemal is much more of a stirrer. those girls need to get a grip

The thing is they have nothing else left anymore, they know their time is coming to and end, Kemal does not trust Makosi and he dislikes Orlaith they have no longer got strength in numbers. They are just trying to poison the minds of others to save their skins for another week but I can see many people voting either one of them out next week.

As I said in the post above Derek is very cleaver. He is cunning and will use deceit to get what he wants, but that should come as no surprise to anyone that knows how british politics works and especially the tory party.

He is a hunter and a leader and there are more ways to lead than from the front. That is Derek tactic. Hide behind the someone who thinks they are the leader and throw the public off the scent. These little whisperings keep him in control of the situation, as much as you can in the house. They allow him to get his point across without making a big noise. He is influencing the balance of power without appearing to be powerful at all.

Every one thinks his little whisperings are about nominations, but I think he learnt lesson of not directly talking about nominations when he was up against Roberto and Craig and one of his little talks was shown on the plasm screen. Now these whisperings are little things to allow him to gain the confidence of other housemates. So that they think he has information they need to survive in the house.

Derek is probably playing the cleverest game of all the housemates, he is using hundreds of years of political history to defeat the other housemates and play with the public.

And it's working! He is still there and looks set to be in the final four. And he deserves it to be in the final four.

Just to tie in the two posts by BB fernzy and BusyBee... and my ramblings about Derek.

This morning he went into the diary room and said this about Orlaith:

"I do not have high regard for her. I think she's mercurial and I shall be turning my attention to her in the next few days...or the next few hours."

One by one Derek will remove Makosi of her gang.... target by target.

He is a very clever man and he also has the support of the public so even if he is up he would stay against most of the people left in the house, I feel that Makosi and Orlaith's days are numbered and if them housemates do have a brain they will vote for them this week.

Also he (derek)whispered "watch Orlaith" to science when they had to vote out vanessa and makosi as they put the text up on the screen for the viewers to read not sure if that was the one you were refering to.

No it was a different one, but I saw that as well.
Later on Science and Anthony said what Derek whispered to them, but I cant remember what it was lol
