Default The Last Week HMs holds a mirror up to English Society

The thick, uneducated, selfish, lazy HM's left in during the final week is exactly who is winning in English society in 2009.

I assume the three posters above would not consider themselves winners in English society in 2009? Or perhaps they are.

Considering the selection of people put into the house as housemates in either the first or second waves were not a reasonable representation of British (note not English) society, and also taking into account the public have only had limited opportunities to get rid of housemates as most housemates selected for eviction were selected by their peers, your assumption about representing English society doesnt show a logical extrapolation.

In other words "your talking garbage".

Not sure the remaining housemates are that representative of English society.
But they are "The thick, uneducated, selfish, lazy " and considered by some (Maybe BB producers too) as somehow cool.
They're not cool at all, they're just "The thick, uneducated, selfish, lazy " people.

I think a better one would be "It isn't what you know but who you know." After all, some of those in there would be gone if the public had gotten the chance. But the fact that they had people in the house to keep them from being nominated served them well.

Sad but true. People used to rag on the Americans for being uneducated and lazy but England is rapidly overtaking them as the number one idiot nation.

England's decline over the past 10 years has been really painful to watch and it was a big factor in my decision to leave the country that I once held so dear.
