Default No matter what, BB wont go without a fight

Ever since CBB5 there has been fears of BB getting the axe.
It all started in BB7, imo the moment the show "jumped the shark" was when Nikki returned. From that moment, over 70% of the voters stopped.

People said that after CBB5, thats BB would not return, but it did with BB8, that series was not seen as very entertaining, but they went ahead with BB9. Then there were rumours that there was no CBB6, but there was, and the launch managed to get 6.1m. Then BB10 came along after the disastrous final ratings for CBB6 of 3.3m watching Ulrika win.

No matter how many articles and strories are written, I dont think BB wont go without a fight, for the last 3 years people have indicated that the show has been on its last legs, but how has it survived for 3 years since that?

And if C4 do axe itanother broadcaster will pick BB11 up(which i hope happens), and what if that is a success... means a BB12 will be made.

Anyone agree? I think that BB might be around for a bit longer especially if someone else picks the show up (anyone apart from C4).

This series has proved there is still life in Big Brother but unfortunatly C4 or Endemol haven't really helped themselves in the last few years and thats why Big Brother is in this position today
After BB11 the future doesn't look good for the show, with C4 set to confirm the show is being dropped this afternoon. I'm hoping another channel picks it up, maybe ITV could rescue the show

I cant wait until after BB11 because a quote from The Guardian this morning has kept my hopes up by saying,

"But it is a dead cert that BB will find a new home after 2010"

C4 should just axe it now, and BB11 should go to another broadcaster.

It showed a bit of life this year, a little hope but they have gotten lazy with everything, Bb have become a push over, their tasks are all samey, dress up in a costume and carry out some tasks, what ever happened to classics like the Box task, so simple yet so funny, no task has been memorable this year

No live feed during the day has ruined it for me this year.

It did itself no favours with this season. BB9 imo was a spectacular comeback and made me look forward to this season.
Until the Youtube hoax,
Then the rushed entrance of talent agency hires,
then the cobbled-together senselessness going on,
The 'Vote to Save' cash-grab,
then what is evidently a production team (half of them gone already) and the other half going through the motions,
and,
by mid-season its as if they all agreed to 'screw it' and let anything and everything happen. People come and go, no rules, its a disaster and it looks like nobody in C4 cares anyways.

The Optimist:
Yes, like you I am holding out hope that somebody else will pick this up. ITV as good as anyone to do this.
Reboot.
One thing I do NOT need to see is just ITV's attempt to do a 'version' of C4s Big Brother.
Even out of respect let this 'era' and the C4 production be what it was and let it stay that way.
Let ITV take a full season off and re-introduce what will be a completely reworked and renewed and 'rebooted' Big Brother of their own making.
It might even be something quieter, more sophisticated, more serious but more clever and with an entirely different mood about it.
Good!
I wouldn't mind seeing a gap of at least one Summer go by too. Let is full-stop and be gone and by the time a different type of Big Brother returns people will have a renewed interest as well.

If it moved TV channel, would all the guys, production team be the same? If not, then it wouldn't be the same.
