Default Idea for nominations for next year.

Instead of having a minimum of 2 people up each week, it should be raised to 3. (Each HM will still only have 2 votes)

I say this, so that when you have splits in the house, there can't be tactical voting so the bigger gang pick off 2 from the smaller gang each week, thus making it a DULL DULL DULL DULL DULL final, like we have this year.

I'd rather they axe nominations and put all of the HM up for eviction each week, then let the public vote to save.

3 sounds like a good option but i don't know if it'll cause any major changes in voting tactics, but you never know. Good idea.

I think they should make it so they have to nominate two people they want to keep and then the people with the least nominations are up for eviction.

This. Encourages people to vote, and axes the boring ones early on.

Big Brother wouldn't have lasted one season nevermind 10 if they had done this.

I would have the housemate who recieves the most nominations given the choice of the next two HM's with the most noms to go up against.

Just for an example.

Marcus recieves 5 noms
Siavash recieves 4 noms
Charlie recieves 2 noms
David recieves 1 nom

everybody else 0.

Marcus can then choose to go up against Siavash or Charlie.

I suggested something very similar on the "Has your opinion changed of Siavash" thread this morning. I think each week HMs should vote to EXEMPT 2 HMs from eviction. The two with the most votes are safe for that week, and ALL the others are up for the public vote. That would change the game entirely.

My ideas:

1. Stick with normal nominations but every 3 weeks have the whole house do a task, those which complete the task are safe from evictions, those which fail go up.

2. Have a lottery number type machine with the numbers 2,3,4 and the word ALL. For nominations a HM randomly picks a ball and whatever the number is the minimum amount of HMs that have to go up for eviction that week. This may mean being told whos up for nominations after round 1 of nominations and doing a second round. If the ALL ball is selected, all housmates face the public vote.
Other balls could include (for twists or to be put in every 2 weeks): YOU, which means the person doing the lottery goes up plus the minimum of 2 from nominations. And YOU DECIDE, which means the person doing the lottery decides the 2 HMs which go up (not allowed yourself).
There could also be PUBLIC, which means the public vote to nominate that week and the HMs evict on Friday.

3. Same idea as 2. except the number corresponds how many nominations you have to do. If you get the ALL ball, no nominations, all HMs go up.

Possible nomination twist ideas:
The top people who are nominated are actually safe, the rest go up.
Having a week where the hosuemates make a group decision which housemates go up (the most that get agreed to go up - this could cause trouble).
Have the top nominated HM's nominations be the people up for eviction.

Those who do not nominate go up straight away first time. Second time all those who do not nominate the ones not nominating go up with them. Third time kick them out.

every week should be different.
There should be some rules that the HM are not aware of.
For example one week they only nominate one person
Another week they have to nominate four people (but only they find out when they are in the diary room
Another week they have to save their favourites and give reasons, they can show in on the screen afterwards to the HM....
Another week the ones who failed their individual tasks will face nominations....

Well is not my job to find ideas for BB....

What about not allowing them to vote for the same person two weeks in a row? Might work and avoid the usual block voting nonsense.

the public should phone vote for thier favourites each week with the 2 with th least on the friday in a live show going up before the remaining housemates who then have to decide live face to face which one goes.
