Default Since when do housemates have the authourity...

...to tell BB what to do?

I have been watching the show a number of years and have never seen BB let housemates walk all over them as bad as this series, especially in the later half.

I don't care who nominated and who didn't nominate.

It is a fundamental rule for all housemates to nominate, regardless if it's Week 1 or Finale Week. It makes no difference.

Upon walking into the house, the housemates signed a contract agreeing to adhere to BB's rules.

That's why I'm not 100% about Siavash because he's so tactical about nominating and thinks he has the authourity and power over BB to not nominate.

If I was BB, and housemates refused to nominate; I'd tell them to leave the diary room, I'd get their suitcase, pack it and put it on the Diary Room chair, then tell them to nominate. If not, they can leave without saying goodbye to fellow HM's.

It doesn't matter if they have formed close bonds with others or not. It is part of BB to nominate and housemates should HAVE to nominate.

Its BB's own fault for not enforcing the rules, therefoe of course the housemates will push it. BB need to grow a pair for next year!

If they had punished rulebreakers in the first place this wouldnt be happening now.

Think back to the first feeble punishment for discussing nominations...wearing a dunces hat...obviously they will try to pushn it with crap punishments like that.

They could do what they wanted, and the worst the got was jail...

Yep, it's farcical at this stage. It illustrates how weak-willed and unmotivated the producers must be because their laziness and lack of authority has seeped into the show.

In my honest opinion, lifting the rule to talk about nominations was the biggest mistake BB could have ever done.

Totally agree with this.

Ruins the whole concept of the show to be honest.

Couple this with the magazines, the day trips(as funny as it was, it shouldnt of been allowed really) the abysmal punishments, the bringing in of girlfriends and boyfriends, mass walkouts...and this is exactly where BB have gone wrong this year.

i am so so so mad about the way bb have handled the whole non nominations. it would never have got this far if they had just kicked out the troublemakers at the start.

Great HMs this year but badly managed. Only way back for BB is to chuck Siavash out with no follow up appearances

Totally agree.
BB should have learnt its lesson about girlfriends/boyfriends from last year when Nicole and the ginger minger Rex spoilt the show when she entered the BB house.
Also, BB must have an extremely low budget this year which hasn't helped. The staging of the tasks has been cheap and shoddy. They seem to have spent too much money on the smokers bus stop.

Great to hear your feedback and thoughts guys.

It's been a decent series, but this may have wrecked somewhat of it for me.

Housemates going around asking other HM's: ''Will you nominate for me?" ....WTF???

I believe this is the reason so many people have not commited to watching .Many decisions have made no sense and favoured particular housemates. Waste of money voting. Whole thing manipulated

BB have ran out of things to do, they punish the HM's, they do it again, Kick them out, the ratings drop. And, the HM's know this.

I agree with what has been said. The HM lost the respect of BB, because BB didn't know how to impose.

Morever now it seems that when a HM is Nominating is doing something really terrible and vindictive...

The very first housemate to discuss nominations should have been put up for eviction IMMEDIATELY - no second-chance warnings. That would have taught them all a well-deserved lesson and BB would have retained the upper hand.

When a Housemate walks out, they should be replaced at the end of the week with another Housemate from the 'Reserve List'.

A Housemate who refuses to nominate should be told that they will be sent out the back door without going back into the Main House, THEN given one more opportunity to nominate OR ELSE ............................

BB should have learned the lesson last year about bringing in boyfriends/girlfriends being a really BAD IDEA.

This year BB has lost fans by not having daytime Life Feed - no wonder there's reduced viewing figures AND voting revenue - shot themselves in the foot right there!

Paying Isaac a rumoured £20,000, plus my last point - no wonder that BB jumped at the opportunity to take away the Prize Money and replace it with a Prize Fund that has to be earned by the Housemates!

A bit late in the day to change anything now, BUT maybe next year's should be a REAL back to basics Big Brother !

As long as you see that it was BB NOT the housemates who screwed up. You have a strong inference that it is the housemates who are to blame. They cannot be blamed for being ALLOWED to get away with breaking the rules of the show.

I think rules are to be broken. But it somebody allows you to break then constantly then "in this case BB" is a muppet which deserves no respect.
Because it showed who has the power. No BB
